You'll probably get Evens on that :yep Hmm, no good boxing this weekend really. Golota/Adamek strikes me as a bit of a freakshow and a money making exhibition, could be interesting though. Cintron against a bum. Not much happening. Will have to bet on Soccer.
If you want to bet for boxing, it is very useful to visit every now and then at PAF´s page ( http://secure.paf.com/ ). There is quite well different kind of pro box fights available to bet for. For example in this tread above mentioned Adamek-Golota; Golota is offered huge 4,15 odd! Last night Napa was offered 1,70... And what is better way at PAF than at many others is that there is not only those big world class cards but also smaller fights available.
I only had a quid on it myself,it's a longshot Forest are unbeaten away and going well atm but draw more often than not away from home.Palace are a mixed bag at home. This and Birmingham/Sunderland could well be draws Burnley/Wigan goes against the form book I suppose-Wigan don't travel well and Burnley are P4 W4 at home but I've seen their defending :-(Awful.I just have a feeling with this one Nice bet on Rhodes though:good
Rhodes was a blatant punt at that point, he was getting dominated hence the 20/1, but you know boxing...momentum can change suddenly and Rhodes is not exactly a featherfisted hack. He can punch. However, there are times when fights are even half way, or where you can see light at the end of the tunnel for a fighter yet Bet365 give you extraordinary odds in-play. It's like they can never see a fighter turning things around.
Yeah nice gamble TFFP. When did you jump on? End of the second? I had a look at the end of the the 5th but he was down to 3/1 by then and didn't fancy the amount I would have had to put on to make it worth while. Great firght which could have gone either way. :happy
Was anyone else getting twitchy watching the Nappa fight?! I took Napa on PTS but I didn't now the result until it came on TV and was worrying that Davies was going to go in 11:nut V good entertainment last night . . . .
:nut Didn't really fancy much this weekend so took a piece of this as a long shot but changed out Burnley vs Wigan for Colchester vs Walsall . . . Burnley vs Wigan the only one that came good. What judgement on my part. LMAO. atsch
I had placed one trebble, which Stoke killed for me, and two lines of 4 draws. Both lines of draws were completely different but two came up on each one. £4 lost. The gf did win me £6 on virtual horses on friday night though
Anyone going to include Kessler in any parlays? I got a 85% confident parlay lined up but im dessciding if i should include Kessler in it, so if anyone can convince me yes or no? I personally think Andre will make it somewhat competative, but he will lose a 8-4, 9-5 UD.
Borussia Dortmund over Hertha Berlin Dortmund drew with top ranked Leverkusen, they showed courage and toughness even after a 1-1 game. Before that, Dortmund beat minnows Monchengladbach 1-0 away, and beat minnows Bohum 2-0 at home. Now Dortmund are playing another minnow team in Hertha Berlin. Berlin, even tho drawing vs a Grafite-less Wolfsburg in thier last game, have lost 6 straight prior. Berlin have scored 2 goals in their last 7 games while Dortmund have 4 in thier last 4. With a minnow team before facing current number 3 Werder Bremen, Dortmund will try to gain more points while facing a clueless Hertha Berlin. Dortmund arent a great team, if anything they are about 6.9/10, but even sides that, Hertha are a 2.5/10 and the gap is pretty wide. Biggest worry would be a draw, but i dont think Dortmund will be troubled being they are home and they know this is thier last minnow team b4 they start playing better teams.... so better pile them points now incase they struggle with teams like 3rd place Bremen and 6th place Hoffenheim. Hertha havent even won a single away game this season... and only scored 3 goals in 5 away games. Dortmund average 1 goal a game when playing home while Hertha average 0.6 on away games. As far as players go, Dortmund just baught a striker from Argentina named Barrios for 4 million Euros. A player for 4 million Euros will no doubt impress... After getting a bit used to the Bundesliga, he has been playing exceptionally well for Dortmund, scoring a 1 in each game in the last 3, including a verry impressive header vs top dogs Leverkusen, a nice strike from inside the box from a pass from Kuba vs Bohum, and a great goal just outside the box vs Glabach. This one would probably be the best video worthy http://rutube.ru/tracks/2447006.html?v=02ab600477ff56caf401d873189e4bcd&autoStart=true&bmstart=0 This kid is someone to keep an eye on for sure. With Dortmunds decent midfeild and improving attack vs. Herthas inconsistant defence and lack of strikers, a Dortmund win is the highest possibility. Prediction: 2-0 Dortmund Confidence Level: 75% Hamburg SV over Borussia Monchengladbach Hamburger is the hottest team in the bundesliga right now, bar none. Forget betting on inconsistant Bayern Munich, Hamburg is the real deal so far this season folks. Despite drawing their last 2 games, they played/drew vs top respectable teams as Shalke and Leverkusen. Hamburger have great attackers in Burg . Good midfeilders in Trochowski(1 goal) and Ze Roberto(4 goals) and a pretty tight defence who only conceeded 3 goals in their 5 home games this season. Hamburger average 2.2 goals a game at home and average 0.6 conceeded. Negatives: Petric is out til next year due to ankle injury. Petric joins defenders Alex Silva (torn cruciate knee ligaments), Bastian Reinhardt (metatarsal fracture), midfielder Collin Benjamin (knee) and striker Jose Paolo Guerrero (torn cruciate knee ligaments) on the long-term injury list. Even tho Petric is out as is thier Peruvian striker Guerrero , who is a also a huge mark for the Hamburg team, Hamburg have shown that they can compete and score goals without him, drawing 3-3 in a table defying game vs. Shalke and beating Celtic FC at Celtic stadium 1-0. Hamburger were also down a man for 30 full mins, a defender mind you, and still managed to draw Shalke away. Hamburger are 4 wins and 1 draw playing home and minnows Glabach wont make a difference. Glabach's away form are 0-1-4. Verry poor showing by the team. Gladbachs only wins was a 2-1 vs fellow minnows Hertha Berlin and a inconsistant away team in Mainz.... who btw is new to the bundesliga. Hamburger are a great team, i rate them a solid 8.2/10(would be 8.5 if Petric was playing) while Gladbach get a 3/10. Gladbach scored only 4 goals on 5 away games in the Bundesliga, 3 of them comming in game 1 vs other fellow minnows Bohum and the last coming on the 18th of October vs. unknown form Wolfsburg. Gladbach were left scoreless in thier away games vs. Bremen(3-0), Freiburg(2-0) and Nurnburg(1-0) prior to their last away game vs. Wolfsburg(2-1). With Hamburg ranked 2nd and Gladbach being bottom of the barrel 16th, its no doubt who is going to win. Hamburg are also undefeatded this season with 6 wins and 4 draws. Prediction: 2-0 Hamburger Confidence Level: 78% Manchester United over Blackburn Rovers Despite losing to unpredictable Liverpool this week, Manchester United lie second place on the table with 22 points as they have a really great record of 7-1-2 with the only defeats coming off of season opener Burnley(1-0) and vs. a top 5 team on a away game in Liverpool (2-0) Manchester average 2 goals a game on home turf(including cups and champ leauge) and average 1 goal conceeded a game. With Manchester United comming back home and a FULL weeks rest, with getting only 4 days playing tough CSKA and than playing Liverpool 4 days later, Man U will come back on track and will try to get easy points. Rovers are comming off a 5-0 away rapage by Chelsea, and also a 6-2 rapage by Arsenal. Being Arsenal, Chelsea, and Man U are pretty even teams in terms of skill, i expect nothing more than another rapage by the hands of a first teir team like Man U. Blackburn are 0-4 on away games and it will be 0-5 by this weekend. They also only have 3 scored and have 16 conceded on away games alone. Man U are playing a cup game on the 27th, in which i belive Fergie will conserve and rest some of the better players, they are going to play 4 days after the game vs Rovers. Even tho Blackburn are also playing a cup game, they dont have the quality of players to conserve as Man U does. I belive these facts alone determine that Man U will win... Prediction: 4-0 Man U Confidence Level: 91% (All rankings mentioned are as of OCT 25) ALSO my personal RATINGS are used to determine as of this seasons form and my personall opinion of the teams.
I have no way to remember now! I think it must have been at the end of 3 or 4 rounds. I'm gonna say 4, that rings a bell.
Andy PERSONALLY - I wouldn't bet on the Kessler/Ward fight. Whilst Kessler is the favourite and rightly so........... I'm expecting Ward to nick this. A very interesting fight either way but if your 85% certain of your other bets then i'd leave this way alone. I'm about 60% certain of a Ward win
