It all depends how much you put on really, my disciples are up are up 0.08 points already since christmas, with my system you really cant lose, its foolproof. Lump on Wadey tomorrow (not as much as tonight though)
When Frank Grant beat Herol Graham my dad made money on that fight. He was convinced that Herol hadn't recovered mentally from the Jackson knockout. It was a HUGE upset at the time. My dad saw the Kalambay fight and Herol acting strangly. Getting hit more often and almost getting stopped late. Plus he was having contractual problems with Lawless. I'm seeing my pops this weekend so might remind him of that.
Graham's first fight with Kalanbay would fight too.If i remember he was something like 7-1 favourite there.
Herol did win the rematch though...:yep (knocked Sumbu down a couple of times, if i remember correctly). Graham was a massive favourite in the first fight, people forget that. Mainly because Kalambay was HUGELY underrated even then. It was considered an easy nights work for Graham highlighted by the fact that they were looking and talking about a Barkley fight. My dad never liked Graham's style btw. He never saw Graham as being skilled defensively, more reflex based. Had his chin up far too high he would say. Ole man was a stickler for technique and doing things "proper". lol I always think Herol Grahams toughness is underrated and his defensive skills are a tad overrated from a fundamental point of view, he was more awkward in a good sense then anything. So i agree with mi ole man in that sense.
Yeah the rematch is a controversial fight, though both fighters were well past their best, it wasn't much of an indicator of how a rematch between them in the late 80s could have gone.I've always thought it surprising the solid performance kalambay gave against Collins, considering how he had looked against Graham and ashton in his previous fights.
Hahaha real value in Huybrechts tonight at 11/4 paired with Wade most 180s at 11/10 is a decent double.
If you're fancying living dangerously go for a treble of Huybrechts to win at 11/4 Wade to hit most 180s at 11/10 and Overeem to win at 8/13. If my maths is correct it pays out at around 12/1
Have went for Brock Lesnar to take the Reem out in either round 1 & 2. I think the Reem is being overrated and Lesnar under estimated.
