I think Danny Graham is worth keeping an eye on, have been very impressed with him. We will probably take one target man and the options arent that great (Carroll, Zamora, etc).

 

To be honest Grant he's no worse then Walcott at the moment although that's not saying much . I think Sinclair deserves a game at the least IMO. T i do agree he's pretty much same as others. I just think he's a option worth looking at in a friendly rather then using likes of Downing who will show no improve on international stage IMO.

 

Oh christ, if being no worse than Walcott gets you a game these days I reckon half the forum gotta chance.

Darren Campbell is a cert from what I've seen in those charity games

England lack depth out wide, I agree. Sinclair can't be a million miles away.

That said, whenever I've watched Swansea their wide men have been 'competitive' at this level but I feel they lack a little bit upstairs.

They don't pick their runs beyond Graham very well I reckon, and that's a big contributory factor towards their lack of goals.

 

Thing is all of our wingers lack insight/IQ. None of them have any idea of what there doing. It's embarrassing there mostly all speed and no brains. I was at the Spain game and Walcott was horrendous to watch. He's not a natural footballer.

 

Yup, I just reckon a limited Adam Johnson, James Milner, Aaron Lennon and Stuart Downing is a better option than a limited Scott Sinclair. That said it cant hurt to get him in and around the squad and see what he's got.

He may thrive around better players.

Not sure weather to back Devon Alexander now at 8/11 or wait and see if he comes closer to evens. Cant see him losing a decision in St Louis.

Better then anything we've got them two, Plus Ramsey as well. Some class players in that side hopefully they appoint the right man to progress Speed's work.

I be honest when i saw the draw i thought '**** sake!'. Speed just got them lot up and running before his sad passing. I hope they do well, I think were getting there ourselves. Craig's learning on the job but he's doing a decent job of it IMO.

 

Yeah you're right. Still cant bring myself to talk about the future without Speedo though.

 

Yeah can imagine mate :good, One things for sure them players motivation levels will be even higher. Do it for Speedo i can imagine being said as they leave dressing room for first game of qualifiers.

I knew we were going to get Wales and I knew they would probably be one of the best Welsh teams of recent times if they have everybody fit and firing.

Thankfully we could have the antedote for Bale and Bellamy ...... Hutton!

Seriously though, gutted about Speed, him being in charge and being one of footballs good guys really upped my interest in the Welsh National team, gotta be a motivation for the players that for a good while to come.
