Well, Devon does have the judges on his side and he isn't knocking Maidana out. Devon did have problems with Matthysse who has a similar style to Maidana so he could find himself in some trouble early on..

Maidana needs the knockout. I'd back Alexander by decision, hedged with Maidana TKO/KO.

Fight is only 10 rounds too, as usual everything is stacked in Alexander's favour (hasn't stopped him losing his last 4, like, but there you go).

Every result plays here, its a very well matched fight, Maidana will win more rounds than Alexander but will struggle to get a decision.

As its a 10 rounder i might have a specualtive punt on the draw.

Yeah it's only a 10 rounder and I think matthysse is better than maidana to be honest so I can see Devon just nicking it I hope. Not that I'm a fan of his style though ha

I like that Taylor bet Laddies have the handicap at -3.5 . What you reckon?

  10. I agree that Matthysse is the better of the two Argies, by quite a fair margin actually.

Though I think the shorter distance suits Maidana, he can wing away to his heart's content knowing that there are less rounds for him to gas out and surrender a debatable decision.

My gut instinct says that Maidana gets him, perhaps late in the last round. Hope so and all, preferably a British stoppage.

Whilst he is home fighter is Alexander still with Don King or are they both Golden Boy now?

Have gone for Alexander outright, wouldnt be surprised if he stops Maidana though.

I'd be a little surprised Maidana's power is over rated, its good but think (or hope) Alexander can last the distance and nick a points victory

Taken the 15/8 Povetkin by ko, just think its overpriced personally

  14. Simon Grayson has just taken over at Huddersfield, so it's got to be ''both teams to score''.

He's had a week on the training ground.... they'll be lethal up front and brutal at the back already.

Yeah Huck isn't the hardest to find. If Povetkin could bang a bit more it would be a certainty for me but not many can make the move to Heavyweight and take the power
