I am trusting you on this one my fellow leedspudlian. And stuck 5 on stoppage at bet365. Get back 20. And stuck 5 on points at ladbrokes for sexton. Get back 37.50.

Surely worth a punt and I have never rated rogan.

Yea, I'm not sure Rogan's price looks that tempting either. I might not be able to resist having a small go though.

    Cheers for the tip.

"Paul McCloskey 4/6 to stop Rasilla".

Damn, I didn't put any money on it in the end.:-(

Still, not the biggest of odds.

i'm disappointed that rogie lost, but the 7/1 odds on Sexton by KO/TKO helped cushion the blow

    The 4/6 came down to 1/2. I won 20.

Good odds for a mismatch, could have ended rounds earlier.

Does anybody else feel as pissed off when they win as when they lose........ the reason being that you didn't load up enough?

I think you should be philosophic about it because the stake you placed was as much as you were prepared to risk at the time. It's easy to look back at these things after the event and think "that went exactly as I thought". But there will also be times when you are sure about something and lose. You made the right decision for yourself beforehand so there's no need to be pissed off afterwards.

Anyone fancying the autumn internationals - rugby union.......

For someone with the knowledge of the game that I have my record with the bookies is exceptionally poor, mainly because I try to be too much of a smart ass.

    England 11/5
    Australia 8/15

England haven't looked great for a while, still have the inept Steve Borthwick as captain and have gone for Danny Care :-( at scrum half. Good news, Jonny Wilkinson is back :happy

The Australians have lost 6 of their last 7 games - albeit against NZ and SA...... but have some players amongst their ranks that are Argentina level, rather than Aussie.

Australia -4.5pts looks tempting at 5/6.

    Other games......

    New Zealand -12.5pts 6/5 :happy

Can't work out if you meant that as a positive or negative?

I would be wary of backing anything in this match tbh, end of season tours are quite trappy anyway and both teams have a lot of unproven quantities are international level. Aussies have a very inexperienced back division.

Yeah - the Argies are on a roll atm, have been for quite a while - almost to the point where it's the norm.

The Aussie backs are inexperienced, but I'm running with the Australia -4.5pts. England's discipline is their achilles heel, it will cost them (again).
