Spoke to the owner of Divers today, he was buzzing as he has been told that the 2 biggest dangers according to what trainer Ferdy Murphy feels will be pulled out, he also told me that as normal jockey Graham Lee is out injured AP McCoy has approached them about the ride on the horse which he has been given, this is not common knowledge yet and they expect the price to contract when it is announced the champ is up on it. Horse is in great form galloping out its skin on Redcar beach at the moment and they have given the nod to get on now at 9/1. Im sure Leo and a few others will remember me putting the same horse up at last years festival and it stoating in at 12s.

The horses have already been pulled about 2 hours ago. Calgary Bay and Hunters Hall, McCoy told them that he fancies Calgary Bay for this years national and is gutted he wont be able to ride it, they expect the price to come in when AP has been announced as jockey in the next couple of days.

 

is that the grand national? or something like it.

Convinced Froch will go off fav. Home advantage is massive in this fight. Froch can't win in Montreal and Bute will struggle to get the nod in close rounds in Nottingham. Stylistically I don't think it's a great fight for Froch but over here it's a pick em fight for me
