    Cheltenham starts tomorow.

What is everybody backing on day 1?

    Here's my selections:

    Tuesday:

Supreme Novices Hurdle - The favourite hasnt won this in a few years, so better off just picking an outsider and putting small amounts on it e/w. I have Tetlami at 16/1

Arkle Chase - Pretty much a two horse race between Al Ferof and Sprinter Sacre. Sprinter Sacre is a great horse and should win, but it struggled to get up the cheltenham hill last year and that could be the case this year again. Paddy Power are doing a special, if you back a horse and it loses to Sprinter Sacre you get your money back. With that in mind, I'd back Al Ferof, if it loses, it will only lose to Sprinter and you'll be re-imbursed.

Champion Hurdle - Big race of the day. I will eat my hat if Hurricane Fly doesnt win. Odds on favourite now.No real value on betting on it on current odds. I would go for an outsider e/w. Something like Oscars Well looks tempting, small ew.

Dave Nicholson Mares - Quevega should win this, odds on mind you. Probably good to put in a double with Hurricane Fly to try get some value..

Country Handicap chase - Garde Champetre is looking decent at 8/1 in this. Only question mark is age.

Got a double on the first day with Sprinter Sacre and Hurricane Fly, backed it a while ago and got odds against on both, could do with that going in to get the week off to a good start.

Will be backing Cinders And Ashes each way in the first, the supreme novices.

Nothing else for the first day, will just have a few small bets just before the race as I am off and will be glued to the box.

Rest of the week, have backed a few ante post if anyone is interested.

Balder Succes EW at 16/1 in the Triumph.

What A Friend EW 40/1 in the Gold cup, just in case something happens to either of the front two, he could run into a place.

Really fancy Chapoturgeon in the Foxhunters have backed that large each way at 8/1 a couple of months ago.

Also got Raya Star (County Hurdle) and Oiseau Du Nuit (Grand Annual) at decent odds, backed Oiseau' last year at 40/1 when it won the same race, it got me out of trouble big style last year so can't desert him this year.

    Good luck to everyone

I have Hurricane at 7/4. I'm delighted I backed him at that price 3 months ago...

I have a double with Sprinter Sacre and Peddlers cross in the Jewson.

A double with Quevega and Big Bucks.

In the Gold cup, I'm staying away from the big two(no value) and I'm going with medermit e/w. Only small amount.

Had a good weekend so just having a look around and its Anji v Spartak kicking off in just under an hour. Anji are 6/5 and with Hiddink newly appointed it looks a good price. But I know very little about Russian football so I cant say for sure. Does anybody have any views on this and whether its worth it?

I can imagine it would be brook on pts, hatton has been getting better and more solid and went the distance with canelo so can't see brook stopping him

Can't believe it's better value for him to win by decision. This fight will go 12 rounds IMO
