    1) Out of the up and coming prospects, I think Fury will do the best. I even think he may go onto win a world title and here’s why.

He’s still very young, and although he has lot’s to learn in terms of technique, conditioning and throwing shots with more power, he has time on his side to improve on these aspects. On the plus side, he is quick on his feet for such a big guy, he throws combinations well, is aggressive and despite the trash talk I think his he display’s a good attitude. On top of this, there are a lot of old men in the heavyweight division right now who won’t be around in a few years time, including the current champions and many of the so called top contenders.

Price is decent enough, but his weak chin has already been well documented on here, and this will probably deny him a shot at the highest level. I hope he proves me wrong, but I don’t see him going past Euro level.

Olubamiwo is a tricky one to determine. His physical attributes look very imposing, the kind of guy you defiantly would not want to bump into down a dark alley. Although he’s beaten the opposition put in front of him with ease, this was expected, and at 30 years of age it’s difficult to know how much improvement he can make. Interestingly enough he’s in next against a Russian guy who has already been beaten by Fury (2nd round cut) and Chisora (pts 8).

Chisora looks the least likely to emerge from these 4. He has got a couple of decent wins, but has also looked unimpressive against opposition he was supposed to have beaten easily.

    2) I don’t expect any of the old guard to feature in more meaningful fights. I hope they get involved against up and coming fighters.

    3) Nearly a pick-em fight, with Wlad a slight favourite. I will be highly surprised if this fight goes past 6 rounds. Haye is a confident guy, and will genuinely believe he can beat Wlad. It will be the first time in years that Wlad has stepped into the ring with someone who thinks they will win.

    4) I think may have reached his level, but people were saying this sometime ago and Rogan has proved them (and me) wrong. He displays great heart and I haven’t seen him in a dull fight yet. What a fairytale storey it would be if the37 taxi driver from Belfast got a shot at, and won the WBA title.

    5) Sexton will need a victory against either one of the up and coming boxers, or perhaps one of the old guard to get him back into the picture.

    6) Not that I’m aware of.

POST SCRIPT. Probably not, but this may depend on how competitive the HW division is in a few years time.
