British heavyweight championship

I've said butler satchell has all the makings for a while and whilst I'm normally against overplanning matchmaking I think they should be kept apart for now

For the lower weights they both possess power,for me butler is the better boxer but satchell has been tested more and passed against capable boys

Add In the fact they aren't a million miles from each other and we have another healthy British rivalry

 

I think we need to slow down on the hughie fury bandwagon

He has looked a natural in 2 lightworkouts and has great pedigree

But he is a long way off British title level,you could say the same for Gary Cornish but he has had a number of fights now and has to be put in with someone with a winning record


As for satchell yeah I really like watching him the kid is tough as
He has battled Wilton,chris and paul Edwards and power in a short space of time
I've heard butcher is talented so looking forward to it but I'm guessing it's coming too early for him
Then he satchel has to move on and I think Luke Wilton would deserve a go at the vacant title

 

Hughie fury looks like a boxer,he has great movement for a big man and s lovely relaxed style,I think he is ahead of Tyson at this stage compared to tysons start to his carear

But talk like that about youngest world champ is hype

Look at David price last time out

And he is in heavyweight terms just a little older than a fertilised egg

 

McDermott vs Chisora would be something I'd like.

McDermott has stated loads of times that winning the British title is his dream/ambition and he should have won it by now, he's been ripped off badly in the past. It was a good win against Skelton, he deserves another crack at it.

Someone like Towers or Sprott would be a good opponent but it looks like neither wants it. Had Audley not been offered the fight with Wilder then I half-expected him to try and win it, it's a belt that he'd never won and having it would get him a decent ranking.

I think Chisora should have a go for it. Judging on his last fight where he looked seriously toilet he's no way near ready to go back in at world level or even Euro-level if the opponent was live. He should have some British level fights to continue rebuilding and get his confidence and motivation back.

McDermott vs Chisora wouldn't be a bad fight. Both are big fat ****s but both have showed they're willing to engage and have a scrap. Could be put on a London card where it would draw.

 

Yes Cornish looks miles away but the way he is being promoted i expect a step up and opportunities if he can take them,how about Tom Dallas v Cornish
