Would Haye Do a job on him then Chagev I mean. So it was a better fight than people anticipated.

This seems to be the only real evidence that Hide was a massive puncher. Something somebody said. Tucker climbed out of his grave to fight Hide, and Bent was nearly as chinny as Hide. Most of his opponents were specially chosen to fall over.
Tucker and Bent being his best wins mean **** all in a career 18 years long.

Haye may be fun for a while but he will not reach the top level IMO.

I like it that our Heavyweights suck, it reminds me of a better time, when you just happy to see a British Heavyweight not embarass himself.

Come back Funso Banjo and clear out the mess at the top.;)

Our heavyweight scene is terrible - Herbie Hide is a big puncher but very chinny. I think David Haye is our best hope of winning a world title - I scored Skelton losing 116-112, a good effort but lacked the class to get past his opponent.

Somtimes a fighters chin improves when they step up because they do not have the problems of making weight. Max Schmeling would be a prime example of this.

Of course it can also go the other way.
