Interesting divisions with quite a bit of strength in depth.

    MIDDLEWEIGHTS:

World/Euro: Macklin, Barker, Murray & Lee
British/Commonwealth: Billy Joe Saunders, Hope & McEwan
Prospects: Ryder, Etches, Eubank Jr & Blackwell

Prince Arron? Where does he fit in here, only 24

    SUPER MIDDLEWEIGHTS:

    World: Froch
    Euro: Magee, Groves & Degale
    British/Commonwealth: Anderson & Smith
    Prospects: Fielding & Buglioni

How do you see things going over the next 2/3 years in these divisions?
Any prospects good enough to make world level?
    Any potential world titlists?
Will Froch fight a Brit before retiring?
Who is our best middleweight prospect?

At middle I think we'll have a few more title challenges but I'm not convinced anyone will win a title, though Barker & Macklin seem to be the most likely to succeed. I'd much rather they all fought each other.

At SMW once Froch retires I think Groves & DeGale will be at world level, if Kessler also retires & Ward moves up the division will be wide open.

Etches is a really fun fighter to watch but a little limited. Ryder is impressive but I'm not sure he'll be a world beater, likewise for Junior.

    Groves & DeGale

I think he will, big money fight before retiring.

Tricky question as they are all so different; Etches has great aggression & works the body hard, Junior has fast hands & good variety but Ryder looks the most naturally talented imo

I think Ryder is our best Middleweight prospect, I haven't seen much of Etches. Eubank is European level at best for me.

I think Smith will beat Anderson, I don't think Fielding or Buglioni will get to European level.

Macklin/Lee/Barker, one of them will get a world title shot again in the next year.

They should do some sort of round robin tournament with Lee, Macklin, Murray, Barker in Britain and Ireland.Have the fights as double headers in big arenas in Ireland and the UK. All 3 events within 12 months.

Will be interesting to see how Murray does against Martinez in Argentina too, if he loses as expected I would like to see him fight Darren Barker.

Macklin vs Lee would be interesting.

it'd be awfully nice to see some of our middleweights face off, even if it's on undercard of a Froch fight or something, that'd be a good card!

yeah, i think they might be having a fight on st patricks day in New york. But who knows. Id like to see it, Id have a sneaking suspicion that Lee might do Macklin, although Macklin would be favourite imo.
