I agree with that first line mate - all at their peak and he was the best. Was down at the Excel when he flattened John McDermott on the undercard of the Danny Williams v Fraudley stinker. Tough fight for anybody outside elite level.
Bit to much time as a sparring partner than cracking on with his own career imo..A very good fighter and well respected Sprott
I was chatting to Big Joe Egan about him (Skelton)years ago, i'll be honest aesthetically he was terrible and said so to Egan. Egan replied with "hes one hard man, a man that's not to be messed with"..He 100% was on about more than he was letting on, as in maybe street fighting capabilities was the impression I got.
To be fair all these fighters were below average and lucky to be in boxing when money was decent and opposition wasn’t......I remember watching a Sprott v Skeleton fight years ago and it ranks as one of the worse I’ve ever seen in the professional ranks, crowd booed for ages. I quite liked Danny Williams and thought Price was going to be special....Skeleton lost so many fights and losing to McDermot shows how bad he got. So my vote is split between Danny/Price and Sprott.
Stop overrating a domestic level fighter and tell your mate (he must be your mate for you to make that delusional dumb comment) to stop begging to get brain damage by continuing to fight
