    1. David Haye
    - Heavyweight
    London (25-1, 23KOs)
Haye will - hopefully - finally get it on with Wladimir Klitschko in the summer, a fight that will do much to define his entire career.

    2. Carl Froch
    - Super-middleweight
    Nottingham (27-1, 20KOs)
Froch regained his WBC crown with a superb display against German Arthur Abraham and will meet Jamaican warrior Glen Johnson in May.

    3. Amir Khan
    - Light-welterweight
    Bolton (24-1, 17KOs)
Khan answered his doubters by overcoming a potential crisis against the hard-hitting Marcos Maidana. Next up, Northern Ireland's Paul McCloskey.

    4. Kell Brook
    - Welterweight
    Sheffield (23-0, 16KOs)
Brook continued his journey towards a world title shot with an easy second-round stoppage of Ghanaian Philip Kotey. Set to fight for the vacant WBO belt next year.

    5. Nathan Cleverly
    - Light-heavyweight
    Cefn Forest (21-0, 10KOs)
Cleverly's progress stalled slightly with a scrappy win over Nadjib Mohammedi and he will have his hands full when challenging for Juergen Braehmer WBO belt in May.

    6. Rendall Munroe
    - Super-bantamweight
    Leicester (21-2, 9KOs)
Munroe lost his match with WBC champion Toshiaki Nishioka in Tokyo but returned to Leicester with his head held high. Still harbours world title hopes and don't write him off.

    7. Ricky Burns
    - Super-featherweight
    Coatbridge (31-2, 8KOs)
Burns made the second defence of his WBO crown with a seven-round defeat of Joseph Laryea and could fight IBF title-holder Mzonke Fana next.

    8. John Murray
    - Lightweight
    Manchester (30-0, 18KOs)
The British and European lightweight champion, still only 26, defends against Karim El Ouazghari in April after which a world title challenge may come knocking.

    9. Matthew Macklin
    - Middleweight
    Birmingham (28-2, 19KOs)

    10. Darren Barker

Is how good a fighter could potentially be very influential in your rankings?

Pretty **** to be honest. Can't see much logic in any of that. It's as if they've heard a lot about Kell Brook so they just threw him in there at 4.

    To a point.

I just think that Gavin and DeGale are better than average fighters like Macklin, Brook and Mitchell, as well as honest triers like McDonnell.

The fact that some of these lads have won European titles doesn't influence my selections.

Hence why I've got Burns at 7 rather than in the top 3..... he's beaten one good (if overrated) champion, then two bums after that. Neither of those are as good as Michael Lomax or Paul Smith P4P, in my opinion.

Likewise Simpson, he clearly beat Martin Lindsay in his last fight, he beat Stephen Smith, Derry Matthews, Paul Appleby and Dazzo Williams on my card too.... the only guy to legitimately beat him was Stephen Foster.

How's barker in there right now?

As usual though the BBC are showing us how out of touch they are. Some are in the right place though, ie froch but brook at 4 is laughable.
He ain't in my top 20, the lispy ****!!

Rating look fairly ok to be honest.

DeGale needs to be somewhere high though.

Not sure what the issue everyone has with Brook is though.
