He should have been banned last year for "impersonating a fighter". :good He's supposed to be retired anyway.
Haye is still the biggest name out there for either brother. Sad but true. BN will be hoping to get that fight or were hoping for a chisora match. It just went sideways. Certainly both should get some sort of punishment. I expected better from Haye.
The thing is, these brawls are getting out of hand. Chisora is obviously a loose cannon, and Haye's a horrible egomaniac *****. And who knows what kind of cocksuckers lurk in their entourages. At some point, if this kind of **** is tolerated and encouraged, someone's going to get ****ed up, stabbed or shot in one of these random brawls. Remember the East Coast/West Coast rap thing in the mid-90s. Bad Boy records versus Death Row records. Brawling at awards ceremonies, dissing each other, threats and all that nonsense. Yeah, it sold more records. Then they started killing each other. That's the problem with this type of IDIOCY being tolerated to sell fights. You can't contain idiocy, these idiots don't know what they are going to do from one second to the next. They lost the plot a long time ago. having said all that, I'd buy the fight.
British press is a joke to be honest. The way they were all wanking over the Klitschko Brothers even before the weigh in slap was laughable, bunch of uncle tom's the lot of em
Klitsckos although very friendly are terrible for the division. Remember Wlad-Ibragimov at Madison Square Garden? Now THAT was bad for the sport.
To be fair if it wasnt for Chisora being the only fighter in years to "have a go" unlike the legions of fat americans who have flopped over the years, coupled with a few antics thrown in, all people would be talking about would be the Cloud robbery and another heavyweight title fight would have gone by with barely a ripple in the scheme of things Most talked about the division has been since Tyson retired.
Iv'e just seen brokeback Nelson on SSN slating the incident, which I found slightly ironic, there was more action in them 5 minutes than there was in his whole career.
Talk of life bans is ridiculous. Temporary ban/fine, possibly. But anything more is a joke. Where was the BBBoC pre fight when the brit fighters team needed their help as W@rren mentioned? Hope they don't cave into this BS media pressure.
Its just ridiculous. "shame to the sport" **** off you limp wristed ****s, Larry Holmes flying dropkicked Trevor Berbick off a car and he seems to be remembered in alright esteem.
Come one, be realistic. This is boxing, what do you think the fans would say if Haye walked away? He'd get ripped forever for running. I respect that he stood his ground and laid one on Chisora. It's straight G ****, and in fairness Chisora had it coming
Well having boxing spread all over both back and front pages of every newspaper is a good thing so? Not in my book why is it that it has to be negative news for boxing to get headlines and not that chisora put up a good effort and that he gave vitali his toughest fight in years? It's just a pity that you've got 'know **** all' journos calling boxers thugs and all this talk of gang life from chisora makes news when boxing clubs do so much work to keep kids off the streets. This is NOT good for boxing
Pretty obvious that lines were crossed by chis and Haye, but to ban them is just ridiculous. I think both should be fined for sure, and publicly appologise and then a line drawn under it. Nice to see the heavyweight division getting so much exposure,, and yes at the moment its for the wrong reasons, but when / if these 2 get it on the fight will be massive in terms of publicity / build up. From a personal point of view neither fighter has done them selves any harm at all in terms of generating intrest in boxing because you can garuntee that all these badminton fans that phone up radio shows will be watching should haye / chis fight.
