I'm no fan of Smith. Watt is good to listen to but he can come out with some garbage. Ian Darke is a ****ing legend.

Darke and McCrory are a great team.

The Sky commentary team is a bunch of kiss-arse tosspots. Only the other day, Johnny Nelson said that Mayweather was the greatest fighter since Sugar Ray Leonard. :patsch

The HBO commentary team is much more exciting. Top Rank have some decent insights ocassionally.

Do you remember McCrory being part of the build up for Lewis and Holyfield??

The Lewis camp went for an eight mile run. For the two miles Lewis let McCrory keep up with him and then just left him for dead. McCrory commented after mile 4 that he was "getting his second wind and was ready to catch Lennox".

McCrory trained with both fighters and when in Holyfield's camp Evander turned to him and said "so you took my old title, huh??"

He then said "I fought Lewis.......................briefly".

Steve Bunce is worse. He ruined Hatton - Castillo for me.

Yes and he seems to be getting worse :patsch
Its getting to the point where he's ruining Friday fight night and all other sky boxing for me now.
I'm considering watching everything he commentates on,,,on mute!

In my experience British commentators are very fair, if not sometimes trying to hard not to be bias. In recent times, they have had Valuev beating Haye and Dirrell beating Froch.

Personally, I like the sky team. Jim Watt maybe has a bit of anti-english to his scoring, but does give decent insight and calls the action right. Not so keen on the ITV guys.

Jim Watt is an absolute tit. He seems to give British fighters a lot of unnecessary stick to try look unbiased. And McRrory's obvious dislike of Haye is a bit annoying.
