Both Darke and Watt are ****. And so is that parrot McCrory. All of them towe the company lines because thats what pays the bills. Give me Steven Holdsworth any day of the week.

Im from England and i have to say in all honesty, i watch the fights on mute. I can't stand Jim Watt constantly having an orgasm every time a shot lands from a British fighter. Also he always trys to discredit a fighter to when his predictions are going horribly wrong.

Johnny 'The Entertainer' Nelson is by FAR the worst. His boxing knowledge sucks. Worst commentary i have seen from him is when Guzman fought Soto. It was just painful. He was calling Guzman a slugger.......:patsch

Jim Watt is horrendous at scoring a fight, but the worst? That would be 'delusional' Duke Mc'kenzie.

Johnny Nelson is the worst at scoring a fight.

He had Matthew Hatton beating N'Dou by FIVE rounds, and Williams beating Quintana in the first fight by FOUR.

Yeah, he is as biased as ****. He has his favourite fighter and sticks to them no matter what.

I watch most fights on mute because most commentators annoy me but the british are the best I've heard

What's all this moaning about? Watching the fights on mute? I like hearing the thuds and the smacks. Plus, all the commentators know more than most of us so any insight is helpful.

I like the Sky Sports guys better than the HBO guys, personally. Except Lennox Lewis... when he does HBO shows, he makes me laugh my ass off. So I like him from an entertainment standpoint.

I like the Showtime guys the best, tho. Al Bernstein and Steve Farhood always give good insight, imo. And even Tarver is pretty good!

I do like the way Lederman from HBO scores tho... usually matches what I see in the ring.

It's not as bad as Johnny "i will only ever support the black fighter" Nelson.

He's a complete fool and offers nothing to the Sky team.

I like Jim Watt, He called the Hatton/pacman fight dead on, but the sky team was on mayweather's dick too much in his last fight.

I dont like them tbh. I much prefer the HBO commentators--even though at times its clear they are trying to push their own agendas

o yeh, Showtime have some good people. I particularly like Gus Johnson-terrific play by play of the Froch-Taylor ending

I don't expect the commentary to be perfect and I find Sky to be good generally but Watt is terrible.

It's normally Ian Darke and Jim Watt commentating the major fights. Unfortunately Darke wasn't there for the Cotto and Pac fight, his voice and enthusiasm really dramatises the fight. Especially in the Hatton fight, both Watt and Darke were brilliant in captivating the drama that was unfolding...."He's been caught here, by a pacific typhoon!"

Also, the above vid is from Top Rank's coverage, who showed the fight from closer and more detailed camera angles. You'll see shots landed that you didn't see in HBO's coverage
