i see martin j ward outpointing townend, cacace beating jupp on points. will we finally see mick jr and ronnie clark share the ring together? i hope so but if i was ronnie i would be disappointed that those other guys get the chance and he is left behind again and it could take up to 18 months before he actually gets his shot. if he gets the fight with mick jr then that will appease him for now. I'm no tommy gilmour fan but i think ronnies new management have shown that they still have a lot to learn when it comes to getting his guy into prime positions. i think tommy would have got him at least a final eliminator imo
With cacace being involved in the final eliminator it was never gunna b Clark has he holds a win him. Townend on a good run of wins and jupp beat smith who was former English champ and highly thought of. Ward beat maxi and won a eliminator and was made mandatory. Tho Ronnie has always been competitive his best wins wud b lower thought of than the other guys.
Liam Walsh final Eliminator is in September I believe for the Ibf, I don't think Jupp will take the Cacace fight to be honest.
Imo if u turn down a final eliminator with out just cause ie injury u sudnt b considered until they have won eliminators against good ranked kids with solid records. Hope jupp takes the fight can't see why he wudnt after taking the smith fight who was very much hyped.
Cacace is a much more daunting prospect then Smith though, and after that beating he took in Mexico I don't think he will want it.
