How would you rank the following and who would win a round robin:

    Joe Calzaghe
    Carl Froch
    Nigel Benn
    Chris Eubank
    Michael Watson
    Herol Graham

Herol Graham on his best night wins the series I think. Hard to put the others in order but will think on it and return. Nigel,Herol,Chris and Michael are my favourite Brits in these weight categories but I reckon that Joe and Carl respectively might finish tournament in silver and bronze position.

Calzaghe beats them all, he was one of the few fighters active during the 90`s that didn`t rely soley on athleticism all the other fighters on this list did, however Benn was an amazing finisher at 160, he also beat a killer like G-man at 168 placing him second in this list, however he could lose in a tounament to Eubank or Watson as both beat him at 160, he did however earn a draw v Eubank at 168 so I`m not sure, Graham`s 77 inch reach would be a problem for all on this list and Froch would have been competitive with everyone on this list except Calzaghe who wins this tournament hands down.

Graham didn`t achieve anything at 168.

Think a peak Eubank beats him. He thought he would just show to win in their fight, but still gave Joe his hardest tussle.

    1 Joe Calzaghe
    2 Chris Eubank
    3 Nigel Benn
    4 Carl Froch
    5 Herol Graham
    6 Michael Watson

As for how they would match up ? I don't really know but Calzaghe would win a round robin like tournament overall.

I also might be underrating Froch a bit ranking him 4th overall.....he does have some notable wins vs Taylor, Bute, Groves, Kessler, which are very good wins.

    H2H at 168lbs

    1. Calzaghe

    2. Froch
    3. Eubank
    4. Watson
    5. Benn
    6. Graham

Very little to separate 2 from 6.

I think the only safe bet would be Calzaghe winning the round robin overall.

But the others could go either way depending on who's on their best night.

Watson was a force of nature in the 2nd Eubank fight, and that was one of the most impressive displays in a British ring I've ever seen until unfortunate incident.

Benn seemed to be on another level mentally vs McClellan and would not stay down.

Froch absolutely dismantled Bute in a career best performance, his combinations and aggression were never better.

Eubank was hit and miss after 2nd Watson fight, but when he was on it like vs Wharton his boxing skills and combinations were razor sharp.

Graham would probably be lowest ranked overall at Super Middleweight, but at Middleweight I think it would be a different story.

BTW my list was based on achievement wise overall not H2H ability at their best.

    Agree with all this DP.

Achievement wise, I think Froch has a case to be highest overall, though so do Benn and Eubank. At SMW, it's a no contest after Calzaghe, Froch all day. In fact, purely at SMW, Froch is closer to Joe than the others, based on contests in that divison only.

Benn and Eubank didn`t want anything to do with Herol Graham and with very good reason

Yeah I was including Middleweight achievements aswell. But if we're strictly talking about Super Middleweight then Froch and Eubank are at number 2 and 3.

Depending on what your criteria is on who you rank higher, Eubank has more quantity with title defences but less quality opponents overall than Froch had.

True. But I reckon the added poundage would n't have made him any less effective than at Middleweight.

He was too tentative to deal with the bigger guys, he didn`t sit his shots enough.

Calzaghe hardly lost a round. He'd beat Eubank every day of the week.
