Fair enough but my point still stands. You don’t have to be from somewhere to support someone or defend them. Do i think Liam Smith is an elite fighter? no. Is he great to watch? Yes. Did he beat Williams? Yes. For me clearly. Will he win another world title? Probably not although I’m not convinced by Ali...

That's not what I was claiming at all.

I disagree that he's great to watch, personally, and obviously I think he drew with Williams. It is all subjective though and you're entitled to your opinion.

Again I don’t think he personally is great to watch but I think 9/10 of his fights are wars. Who’s going to be more entertaining to watch? Selby or Smith? We know who the better boxer is but I know who’s fight would be better.

Maybe at Cruiserweight, Light-Heavy and maybe even Super Middleweight...but i reckon from 160 and all the divisions below, skill-set comes more into play, and having speed and power against the elite fighters in them divisions isn’t enough. Just as an example, Indongo getting picked apart by Crawford, Davies getting picked to pieces by Taylor...there are definitely better examples, but my point is, AJ isn’t a very skilful fighter but he’s in a division where speed and strength are effective against big, lumbering, 16 stone plus fighters.
