    Fairly smug id imagine - how many viewers would have stayed up till 3am to watch it live ? ITV have two replayes on tomorrow evening. They'll have paid **** all for them and will get more than their money's worth.

    pretty good ocmment. I goota go to bed anyway i dont really know what im typing but still setanta money wise could have looked good. Especially with the rights to the fight afterwards

    agreed. British TV should hang its head in shame. A legit champion going over to the states, and they don't even broadcast it live. Sad.

    Only Brits posting on this board would have tuned in at 3am to watch this fight.

    Lets get real here, Froch was not a big draw tonight in the grand scheme of things and Froch's promotor thought he was holding more cards than he was.

    Now British TV is going to be fighting over rights for The Cobra, more so than Hatton/Khan/Haye even, hes produced two of the greatest fights in British boxing for at least 10-15 yrs, just amazing Frochy!!What a legend!

    Frankly, it's a win/win. More people will watch the fight having heard of the dramatic ending at a more accessible time slot, and more people watching it means Froch gets a bigger audience and bigger paydays from here on out.

    While it's a shame they didn't show it live for posterity, for ratings and financial purposes, everything's fallen into place perfectly.

    Its no secret that the British TV companies have let their sportsman down.

    Here's a guy competing in one of the most dangerous sports representing GB and trying to make a buck to make it all worth while and the ****ers cry credit crunch.

    Pathetic tight arses. When have people in GB not tuned in to watch yankee bashing?
    Its a tradtion!
    Thankfully brits are the most loyal fans and they follow their man all over the world anywhere.

    which is more than can be said about our mentally aged cousins across the pond.

    That's because Taylor was in the other corner. The average guy in the street in the UK wouldn't have a clue who he was if you quizzed him with a photo and gave his surname. He doesn't have the kind of appeal yet that will get people staying up at 3am to watch him.
