to be honest I spent 10 minutes writing out my response only to find the thread was deleted so I wanted to post it.

The topic of religion has come once between us, in a thread you started called "Pray for Boston" where you later stated you were an atheist....which myself and others disputed. Its turned out you are in fact not an atheist, so really you should be thankful to myself and other posters for educating you on what your belief system is. I would hardly call this bugging you.

My post wasn't going mad. It was a response to your previous post which was completely ignorant. Everyone can have an opinion, but when someone talks absolute ****, including me, you are gonna get brought up on it. The fact several people came on and put well said should tell you allot.

You are a great poster, a credit to this forum, and on a personal note I really like you, but you were so far of the mark in your comments yesterday I had to bring you up on it.

FYI the reason the thread will have been deleted was because it said "Idiot Americans" which I don't think the American mods take to kindly too.

I agree 100% in that the USA market is the CL of boxing no doubt.Over your side either you get to world level or you are basically nothing here domestic belts are seen as an achievement. You have the elite Mexicans etc gives you depth we as you rightly stated don't.

But for our population over the years we havn't done too bad Rob we have been competitive with regards champions UK as a whole all star fighters that we were told couldn't be beaten like Curry,McClellan Lacy etc came up short against our guys you have handed us ours on a plate many times!:-(

It all goes in cycles Froch has held his own Ward no doubt on a different level but we will produce decent title contenders in the future just as the USA will create elite fighters but population wise we punch our weight.Personally I have said on other threads nationality of a fighter is neither here nor there to me.Our amateur system is producing decent prospects how far they go who knows?

I go stateside regularly last year sitting in a bar discussing Cotto v Trout in a mixed group of my families friends not one of the U.S guys had a clue who Trout was I was surprised.

You obviously have a short memory.

Two names which were not only the best in their division, they absolutely dominated it - Lennox Lewis and Joe Calzaghe.

    Idiot.

America is where the big money can be made, but Americans can't demand fighters travel there for every fight, when their fighters rarely leave America and if they do it's to Canada or Mexico.
