Assuming he's not promoted by Warren (fair assumption I'd say), it leaves Haye (in training), Witter and Hatton.

Well if Witters been KO'd he'll just have to get to the back of the queue and work his way back up for a fight with Hatton....;)

He says that HBO have promised him a fight on the card no matter what.

But boxing News say that HBO have rejected the man who just beat Paulie, Bailey and Urango as opponents for Witter. :think

I believe that hes still training abroad though.

I have to say that in the cases I have encountered where a national level boxer gets into a bar fight with a civilian it is generaly resolved with the first combination he throws even if he is outweighed by 100 lbs.

A friend of min in the police investigated a case where a guy on the British Army boxing team beat sombody up. This guy dwarfed him but he laid him out cold with one punch and left him quivering and twitching on the ground with a shattered jaw

there was the case a couple of years ago where the ex-boxer and bouncer killed someone....seem to remember it being caused by an uppercut lifting the poor bloke off the ground and him smacking his head on the pavement. garry delaney i think.

usually a trained boxer beating up a non-boxer does not have pleasant consequences.
