    Alex Arthur top class amatuer and never fought enough to fullfill his career, allthough he did hold brittish,commenwealth, european and world championship belts i feel he should have achieved and fought more live/name oppenents allthough he was never going to be an all time great

    I think Jawaid Khaliq, I just really think he was could have been so much more, maybe not the greatest ww out there, but definatly could have given us alot more.

    Naz acheived a lot, but really if we're being fair dinkum, he under-acheived overall and could have been so much more...

    Can I say my mate Geard? Naturalised Brit. On his game, I'd have him over Quigley, Smith, Dodson, all of em. Really consider him to have Euro-level skills, with the right people around him, even further perhaps.

    He'd be the first to say though he's gone off the boil. Lost his last 3 (to Geale, Pirog & Macklin) and lost his love for the sport somewhat. He's still 28 so there's still time to be revitalised, but who knows.

    Kelly Oliver. Looked the real deal winnig the ABAs at light-heavy but lost his way in the pro game. Could have been much more

    My brother went to school with Kevin Lear, I'm not sure if he was anything special or not (see edit notes), but he had won all of his 14 bouts (including a win over Michael Gomez in Manchester), so maybe he never made it to where he should/could have been. No idea why he stopped, I heard three versions, 1, that he couldn't get motivated. 2, that his promoter (think it was Hearn) never got on with him, and 3, that he carried a load of baggage and was got rid of...although I guess two and three kind of go hand in hand?

    Anyone know anything about Lear???
