I never knew of Thompson until he kicked Price's ass. After learning more about him, I'd say he's the current number 1 HW in America. And in the top ten heavyweight list. He beats the crap out of The Helenenis' and Chisoras of the world. Upper tier, with the Haye's Klits, Fury, Putev, Povetkins He's getting his ass kicked.
It's funny that Wlad beat an "old, shot, slow grandpa" But Price got beat by "a severly underrated, cagey, southpaw who packs a punch"
there's some truth to this....some. Thompson was obviously a little shot by the second wlad fight (compare the determination and durability of TT in the two fights). Thompson looked a little vulnerable today (he was looking wobly on a lot of early punches taken) and i think price should've been able to pounce and end it when he had him hurt around the KD. Thompson's still tough and trouble for most besides Wlad at this point. That says a lot about Wlad's dominance but also the sad state of the division
Its a shame the division is held in bad regards by two roided up (On their own accord in their youths) status. They got so big, by taking a **** load of roids in their earlier years. After both Klit's go away the division is open up, and on equal ground and its not an actual bad division. Yeah, its not the 70's or 90's but its still healthy with loads of great fights out there. the Klits merely hold the belts to ransom. Take the Klits out of the equation altogether, there's a healthy vibrant HW division right therer.
Yeah I agree, Britain is undeniably made up of the 100 British posters on this forum and we literally speak for everyone in the country. It makes it easy to take polls as well as we don't have to work out percentages, as It's always just out of 100...as in what percentage of great Britain thinks you have some form of mild to full ******ation...100.
Thompson is very underrated because of all the prejudice against Vitali and Vlad. Thompson is the best American heavyweight, by far. Wilder refused to fight him and never will..............
Well, maybe, but only because Price vs TT has that "car crash in slowmotion" factor. I'm watching Wladimir vs. TT today just to remind myself of the difference between a great fighter and a raw prospect.
