It's not like you are getting rode by paying for a Khan/Maidana fight. They are both top 5 fighters. It's not in any way comparable to Haye/Harrison which is pathetic to put it mildly.

Where did I say he was feather fisted?...you're making **** up again. Besides, a 42% KO ratio isn't anywhere close to world class power, its in the Kotelnik bracket.

Maidana has never been knocked out within a minute either though...Khan has been knocked down by Willie Limmond who isn't exactly the hardest hitter in the world.

This should be a good fight if it ever happens, no matter how fast Khan's hands are, his chin isn't the greatest in the world.

Did you have any issues with Haye/Valuev as PPV? The calibre of fighters is about the same and Khan/Maidana will be a million times more exciting (which isn't difficult to be fair).

That's true, reason being why I can see it having a lot of drama with multiple knockdowns. But I pick Maidana's power and chin over Khan's anyday. It'll be a matter of who get's to who first.

Yup I'll buy... But khan deals with him comfortably IMO. He'll outbox, out move and out think maidada who I'm really not buying atm. I even think Ortiz beats him in a rematch.

And where did he mention world class power?

Another thing, 42% KO ratio includes the fights he lost. He won 22/37 of his victories by way of KO/TKO. He lost 14, which paints a much different picture when comparing his power to Kotelnik who won 13 of his 31 victories by KO/TKO.

:huh The bit about the 14 losses just about says it all....Corley is well and truly cooked, you could have stuck a fork in him when Witter beat him 4 years ago. Fact of the matter is that he has lost to some very average fighters and Maidana struggled like **** with him, if you don't accept that then download the fight and see for yourself :thumbsup

14 losses says he is a bad boxer. We were discussing his power.

And I fully accept that he is shot and Maidana looked very poor. I watched it live. When did I say anything to the contrary?

I called you out on the unfair comparison to Kotelnik you made. Corley has decent power, not a massive banger but he has a bit of pop. Kotelnik has hardly any power at all.

Regardless of the match up I always purchase PPVs unless I'm unable.

I'm intrigued enough by Khan's continual development (thus far) under Roach to look forward to this one if it is signed. Interested to see whether he's added anymore variety or angles to his offense this time around.

Any rumors on who might be on the undercard? Hopefully GBP bring some talent over or does Warren still do Khans cards over here?

Thought the connection to Warren had been completely ended but I could very easily be wrong. Don't pay much attention to Warren's legal/contractual stories.

Be nice to see Groves involved.
