-Will you acknowledge him as a great champion who has been undefeated in 7 years and beaten the best of his era?

-Or will you claim he has beaten only bums, haye being another one?

    Hello there,

It seems you misunderstood the purpose of this thread. I presented a hypothetical (not real) situation for discussion, that being if Wlad was to knock Haye out, would you give him credit?

    Perhaps now you understand?

    Kind regards,

I won't give Wlad too much praise, it would be a good win but Wlad himself expects to win and so do I.

I'm British, and I give Wladimir credit as it is. I think Haye's a dangerous opponent for him, but I think Wlad's going to win - and I do think Haye hasn't beaten anyone of note enough at heavyweight to be slagging off Wlad's opponents over the years.

I'll give him all the credit. Haye is the best person he's fought by a long way.

I'll give him some credit. I personally don't think this is such a defining fight as some do. It's a big fight with huge interest. Scraping by Valuev and beating an ancient Ruiz and Harrison doesn't put Haye on another level to the other top contenders in the division. If Haye had already beaten other contenders in Adamek/Chambers/Povetkin/Chagaev, then fair enough, but he hasn't. I do have him #3 heavyweight, but there's not a lot between them.

He's probably marginally better than those guys but I could be wrong. It would be a good win for Wlad. Haye has much more to gain in this fight. A victory against Wlad would be his best victory by a country mile.

I'll be hoping Haye wins but I think Wlad will. As Elvis says I don't see this as being that a massive a step up from some of Wlads other opponents so I won't be getting too excited about it if Wlad wins.

What difference would beating Chambers and Chagaev make, Elvis? They're crap. It wouldn't prepare him for Klitschko or be in any way an indication any more than beating Ruiz and Valuev was. Chagaev is a plodding robot, he has nothing to offer David Haye and Chambers can not punch at all.
