Brock is turning 34 yrs old.. all of a sudden hes gonna learn how to take a punch?

You cant learn to take a punch.

 

he can't learn how to take a punch... but he can probably learn to have some composure when he gets tagged and not roll over the damn mat, cover himself in a smart way and try to recover.

the problem though is that he didn't start young. that will take away the chances of him learning much in this sport while he's still in his physical prime.

 

Brock doesn't need to learn to take a punch - he needs to learn to rely on his wrestling when in trouble. Too many times in the Cain fight when hurt he abandoned his takedown and was trying to use dirty boxing instead. This lead to him getting hurt worse than he was. If he just stayed committed to his takedown he would still be a force to be reckoned with.

 

I disagree, you could see the signs of Brocks mental weakness well before Carwin. He got over exicted agenst Mir the first time and then paniced making the incorrect decision when caught in a sub, he also looked far from comfortable standing agenst both Randy and Mir the second time.

Those signs which the UFC and his fans looked to brush under the carpet have been confirmed loud and clear. Sorry but Brock Lesnar the worlds badest man never existed, a potentially dangerous fighter yes but the UFC's hype has ultimately been shown to be total BS.

 

Lesnar can take a shot, that is the thing. He just doesn't know what to do when hurt. He has alot of potential in striking but you can't buy experience.

Lesnar took a huge uppercut from Carwin and before he went down (but not out) against Cain he took a big knee to the face.

The guy just has to swallow his pride, evolve, and improve.

 

He tried that. Cain stuffed his take downs and punched him in the face. Facts are Brock's so called take downs aren't up there with even up their with Kevin Randleman's. His technique leaves alot to be desired as he simply tried to out muscle Cain to the mat and that clearly didn't work.
