Brilliant post. The new, bigger Mir has a great chance against Lesnar.

So it seems that you favor Mir in the rubber match. I would LOVE to bet with you on that outcome. I see Mir getting beaten within an inch of his life and maybe even never fighting again. And that isn't an exaggeration.

Even if these two fight again and there is a clear winner, they are clearly the best 2 heavyweights in the UFC in my opinion. I don't want to see them fight again just yet otherwise in 2 years time we might be on Mir-Lesnar 7.

If Mir beat Lesnar that would be nice. One of the great rivalty in our young sport!
And they really hate each other !

I think this is a lot of ****. People need to remember Mir was originally a bum that was meant to be fed to Lesner. Who lets face it gave away an easy submission. If Lesner had won that fight (Witch obliviously White though he would very easily), you wouldn't have been hearing much more of Mir.

He was not a bum dude seriously go learn something about the sport. Frank was considered past his prime which is different then a bum a bum is Lesnar's first MMA opponet in K-1. Frank was the UFC Heavyweight Champion before having his leg broke and yeah when he came back 2006 was a rough year he went 1-2, suffered bad losses, was addicted to pain killers, could barley train and drank alot that showed in his less then impressive physique. Guy takes off 8-9 months gets a win over a limited Antoni Hardonk by Kimura but agian its a limited fighter so it meant little. Since then he gave Brock his only loss, destroyed Nogueira when Nogueira still had yet to be stopped then dropped and choked out Kongo. Kongo is a limited fighter himself but noboddy in the UFC had stopped him and noboddy expected Frank to nearly KO him. Go break your leg then come back when you arent even close to 100 percent.

Exactly. I don't understand all the hate and doubt towards Mir. He has a great chance to win the rematch. I honestly see both fighters having a big chance of winning which makes this fight very exciting.

The broken leg was supposed to be career ending so just coming back to fight after that is an accomplishment in itself.

I dont see how Mir is winning the rematch, I would love to see it as I don't find Lesnars fighting style very nice to watch and he seems to be an even bigger douche than Mir.

So I would love to see Frank leave with a limb. But I really doubt it, his positioning just is not up to scratch.

Reason 1 Frank Mir already owns a win over Lesnar making the series 1-1. Reason 2 Frank Mir isnt tying up belts in another weight divison. Reason 3 Frank has submitted Brock and had him slighty hurt and retreating in the rematches 2nd round. Reason 4 with an brutal win over Cheick Kongo and of course potential Shane Carwin then Frank has done enough to deserve a 3rd bout. Theres a good thing going in this divison right now so I aint complaining about nothing. If all goes right we see Lesnar vs Carwin/Mir in July and around that time Cain should be fighting the Gonzaga/JDS winner. Nice little tournament right there.
