Gonzaga is a tremendous fighter if he isnt pushed. I can definentally see hims stopping JDS. JDS is kinda of in the same postion Gonzaga is when Gonzaga was undefeated in the UFC. That is everything has came easy he walked through Werdum, Struve and Cro Cop I wanna see what happens when Gonzaga is landing those thunderous leg kicks and making JDS have to think.

Gonzaga is an awesome fighter.. great set of skills.. but he wilts when he gets hit.
He should have destroyed Werdum and Couture.

Some fighters have it in them to win.. some don't.
    Gonzaga doesn't.

That said.. I still love watching Gonzaga fight. JDS vs Gonzaga is a great matchup.

You guys are both hedging. "If Brock hasn't lost ability...", "If Mir comes with a game plan...".

If Mir gets taken down and can't get guard, he's ****ed against Lesnar, just like probably every other fighter out there. Considering how good Mir is on his back and he couldn't get to guard in the last fight, that's a pretty big mark on Lesnar's side. Mir has an advantage on his feet with more kicks and punches and such, but Lesnar knows cover/clinch/takedown will win him the fight and if there's one thing we've learned from mma it's that cover/clinch/takedown is a lot more high percentage plan than circle/precision strike/move. I thought perhaps that after this illness Lesnar might have lost a ton of weight and have aged ten years, but it doesn't look that way. I would love for Mir or Nog or anyone else to beat Lesnar, but I just don't see it.

you guys better believe that Frank Mir can still submit Brock Lesnar. He will always be better at submissions than Brock - it's just a question of how long Lesnar can stay out of those submissions. I would love to see a third Lesnar/Mir fight - because both of their bouts ended so decisively. A third fight is a natural. If Mir makes it through Carwin - we'll see it happen.

I agree. I think while Mir is champ, is the only time I wouldn't want Fedor in the UFC:lol:

Imagine if he had the heart and will of a Couture or Nogueira he would be damn near unstoppable the world would be screaming for Fedor-Gonzaga.

Everyone before the Kongo fight said oh Mir will get tore up if he stands with Kongo then Frank nearly knocks him out and its a different story. I dont care if its Brock's 2nd fight hell he only has 5 now and is a Champion clearly he can fight, Frank made him TAP thats a clear victory and a few months later Brock is the Champ so yes its a good not gud victory. Yes ive seen Nog fight ive probablly seen 10x the amount of Nog you have. Frank fought what verison of Nogueira showed and kicked his ass all around the octagon plain and simple.
