Lesnar was always huge and strong, look at his pics when he was a kid and a teen.
His frame, bone structure is massive plus ability to gain muscles and speed plus explosiveness... those are all natural gifts.

For example, Holyfield was juiced to the gills and couldn't bulk up to 220 lbs. He just didn't have the frame nor the ability to gain muscles in his genes like Brock has...

Brock almost died from that horrible disease he had before the Overeem fight, and still come to the fight huge at +265 lbs... and passed the test, while Overeem failed.

On July 15, Lesnar was notified of a potential anti-doping policy violation by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) stemming from an undisclosed banned substance in an out-of-competition sample collected on June 28.[234] On July 19, the UFC announced that a second sample taken in-competition on July 9 tested positive for the same banned substance discovered in the previous out-of-competition sample.[235] On August 23, the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) confirmed that Lesnar twice tested positive for the estrogen blocker clomiphene and he was suspended.[236]

On December 15, it was confirmed that Lesnar was fined $250,000 and suspended from competition for one year by the NSAC. He would be eligible to return in July 2017. As a result of the suspension, the result of his fight with Mark Hunt was overturned to a no contest.[237]

On February 14, 2017, it was reported that Lesnar had notified UFC he was retiring from MMA for the second time.[238]

what's your point? those failed drug tests are both for the mark hunt fight... he didn't fail the drug test in his other mma fights.
what do you think who would win in a street fight between brock and mike?

    The point is he's a cheat !

A cheat who took short cuts , who didn't mind fighting opponents juiced to the gills , a complete bellend of a man who should be banned from MMA for life along with the rest of them.

Regarding a street fight , I think a prime Tyson would beat him.

    Opponent... Mark Hunt.
He didn't fail drug test against other opponents.
I assume you don't like Jon Jones, Anderson Silva, Yoel Romero, Vitor Belfort, JDS etc.?

Why do you think Tyson would win?
Not only Brock has the stylistic advantage (MMA vs Boxing), he's way bigger and stronger. And more athletic.

Because Tyson is the sort of guy that would sink his teeth into you when backed into a corner , the type of person who would do anything to get the better of you , basically a ****ing nutcase !

But what can he do when Brock takes him down, which would most likely happen?
He has no ground game, Brock can literally beat him to death or choke him out.

Sadly the boxers almost always get trounced probably 97 percent ....and it could be worse on concrete...and I'm a boxing guy....

Tyson has a chance obviously as brock doesn't seem to like being hit

Brock would try and wrestle and elbow him on the ground no doubt

There was a guy that did a study on boxing vs wrestling. I think it was closer to 80-20 or 70-30 in the favour of the wrestler. Sometimes the wrestler is just shyte, or the boxer has a lot more fight in the dog.

That makes sense. The ground guy usual gets the better of things especially the longer it goes but a pure striker of course always has that chance. Obviously, things have been changing the last decade with more wrestlers cross training into striking for MMA but on the whole I feel most wrestlers still aren't comfortable at all under fire and that's understandable.

They say in Thailand it takes 5 years to make someone a fighter. It's unnatural and not easy to get comfortable under fire, to hold you ground and composure, it takes time. Many of these wrestlers who are training in MT or boxing really are only doing it on a part time basis and it's still not in their DNA of years on the mat. Of course some take to it but I feel most don't.

But getting back to the thread title and particularly what BCS8 said about "more fight in the dog". Whenever I hear of a hypothetical Tyson in MMA etc I always think of Igor Vovchanchyn. A pure aggressive striker with a low centre of gravity short stocky body type like Tyson. In his early days and for much of his career he had no ground game, but due to his quality striking and amazing desire even against bigger stronger grapplers he found a way to win, often getting out of holds and locks with no skill or know how just a mixture of brute force strength, quality striking and will. Albeit, he had more weapons than Tyson, knees, elbows and kicks, but I wonder if Tyson due to his aggression, strength and striking prowess would be able to out "will" an experienced grappler like Brock.
