Dang Brock looks ALOT smaller. Be interesting to see if theres any difference in relation to his ability as he's winning of talent alone at the moment.

Dropped Herring with the first right hand of the fight.
Dropped Mir in both fights with right hands.
Knocked Couture out with a right hand.
Got his first opponent to tap from short range blows.
Absolutely battered Mir and Herring's face with heavy blows that could be heard. His output wasn't very high in either fight so it must have been impact based damage.

    The guy can punch.

  3. tap tap punches......has Brock KO'd anyone like the gifs I posted up? Heck he couldnt even KO from one punch a weak willed Mir.

He did not drop Mir with anything in the rematch.

The only major blow I remember was the Randy fight and it was on top of the head and kind of surprised me it had that effect...

Vinny is awesome, it's a pity he hasn't been able to make much of an impact in MMA.

He doesn't stand up enough. He is grappling the large majority of the time. When he is standing he is hurting, dropping and ko'ing fighters. He has only had 5 fights. I think he has heavy hands. In a pure striking match he might have difficulty throwing fast and powerful combos etc but his hands keep you honest. When he has you pinned then his single blows look and sound really heavy. When it's a nip tuck standing fight maybe he would be less successful but so far when he has stood up, I think he's looked quite good.

Brocks got canned hams for fists. We know this because of what he did to Mir and Herring somewhat. BUT he's striking and GnP are hardly polished. So far he's getting by on talent alone which is amazing feat in itself. But i believe the UFC title does flatter him immensely. We shall see what he's really made of when he starts taking on the studs in his division like JDS Carwin Valasquez etc.

So sick! How sick is that? That took what? 33 seconds? Against PDP? That's nuts!

My initial explaination for what I heard about it was that it's so unheard of to hit a flying anything in ADCC (maybe not unheard of, but exceptionally rare) that he simply wasn't expecting it and therefore didn't defend it properly. But, no matter...Vinny with the Flying Arm Bar! That was so nuts, I watched it like 9 times to try and get a better look at how he set that up. Beautiful!

I hope. Remember Brock's chin still hasn't been tested.
