Brock doesn't have a 'china chin', he has a 'glass chin', Audley Harrison has a 'china chin', along with his junior countryman Amir Khan. Glass is harder to crack than china...
Good fight - probably not very exciting but a match between 2 skilled guys looking to advance their careers. I like Brock by SD
He has a "glass chin" because he was ko'd by the best heavyweight in the world?? I'm thinking the only other time he was ever down was against McCline and he got up off the deck and won the rest of that round. Getting knocked out one time by a great fighter doesn't mean your chin is glass.
Chambers' hands are too quick for Brock, and the Guinn that Chambers' fought was better than any version of Brock i've seen...EASY UD for Chambers...

I'm Chambers #1 fan or close to it. He fought in one of the same golden gloves tournaments as I some years back, and i was impressed. Even though his frame doesnt suggest he's as good as he is. Chambers is a good guy to boot, well spoken, and humble. That said?? Stoppage??? Highly unlikely!!! Fast Eddie will likely win the decision. Cant wait for this fight:good
I used to think Brock was pretty good, and few agreed with me. Nothing spectacular about him but he had a great overall package, when combined I thought he could definitely pick a title. I keep on waiting and waiting for him to prove me right. I wasnt suprised he lost to Wlad or the way he did but Brock isnt living up the the expectations I had of him. If he cant win this, or even if he doesnt make it close, my faith in CB is totally finished.
I'm not sure why you saw he's got a glass chin amsterdam. Sure he doesnt have a rock beard but I'd say he's got a decent chin. Nothing great, but not **** either. Wlad hits hard and that shot he put him down with was clean and hard as hell and he still tried to get up. the only other time he's been down was from mccline and it was shot he didnt see coming at all, and he got up from it and beat the crap out of McCline for the rest of the round.
A lot of people think that way. That says how many stupid bums walk around and write in boxing boards thinking they know something about the sport....
Good fight, but let's be clear about this - it's a definite step-up for Chambers. Even though he's undefeated, he's fought weaker opposition and has less experience than Brock...if he could pull off a win here, that would be a major boost for his career. For Brock, a win would be useful in positioning for another title shot against someone. I don't mind who wins this one, which is fine as well.
this tournament is quite interesting. all four are in the same league. i think povetkin takes it, but he won't ko byrd. chambers vs brock is also a good match, i don't agree brock has a china/glass chin. maybe not rock solid but it's too soon to call it china. byrd-povetkin should be the final but that won't happen because they fight first. so my guess is chambers-povetkin.
Dos anyone else remember when boxrec absurdly had Calvin Brock as the number 1 heavy in the world? This is a bad move for Brock. Sultan, or on the longshot, Holyfield, is going to be looking for an opponent for next year, and neither of those guys is compeltely out of his reach. Sadly, the WBA belt may soon be vacant. Why in god's name does he want to compete with some good competion to face Wlad again? I don't have anyhting against Brock other than he is no world beater. But we need some new blood, especially if Chag ain't coming back. Lets hope for chambers.
Brock UD or late KO. IMO, he's much better than Chambers, and his brutal KO at the hands of Wlad is still coloring people's thoughts on him. If Chambers had ever fought a live body, people would see that he's a flat-footed jab machine with no power, and he should be little more than a human heavy bag for a more well-rounded fighter like Brock.
