although i'm picking him to win, i'd rather see chambers lose now in the tournament (which wouldn't hurt his momentum too badly) and then have him regroup and work up to a fight with kevin johnson to determine the best young slick HW...that's a fight i'm dying to see. losing in humiliating fashion to Wlad (he probably would/will at this stage) could not only hurt his career momentum badly but permanently shatter his confidence.

Eh, six of one and half a dozen of the other. Let's be honest, none of the four were ever regarded as big scary threats to Wlad. :yep

I picked Brock initially but now this news of him being 240 kinda has me back in the middle. He's not a big framed guy so 240 is alot no matter how you look at it.

And the last guy you want to be overweight against is a small heavy with fast hands and footwork. Usually guys will come in a bit overweight against a bigger opponent so the big guy will tire out faster shoving him around. Against a guy like Chambers, weight is bad news.

I'm gonna change my prediction. I'll go with Chambers by UD. I think this extra weight is going to take it's toll on Brock as the fight wears on. Chambers will keep his punches tight and work inside more with more activity.

looks like when Brock was announced at 240, it seems like the votes went more for Brock.

thanks for voting in the poll.

I think the opposite. I hate to vote against Brock, because I have always liked the guy, but I gotta go with my head and not my emotions. I think that he has not yet recovered from Klitschko, and I think he is too heavy and that Chambers is gonna flat out want it as the fight progresses. I think that Brock will be slower and lethargic with his punches and only fight in spurts.
    Chambers will out work him.

Chambers in a (mildly) upset win.

feel bad going against Brock, but it aint up to me and that is how I got to call it.
I kinda hope I am wrong.

Should be a decent, but not too exciting, tactical bout. It will be interesting to see what plan Brock comes into the ring with.

    Chambers UD

Chambers is going to beat the hell out of Brock. It's going to be a systematic beatdown. Chambers is the future of the division. This will be Brock's last meaningfiul fight.

I see Chambers utilizing his superior hand speed, defense, and movement - winning by a decision. He shouldn't stand toe to toe with Brock because it could be dangerous. Brock isn't really considered a puncher, but when he plants, he can knock some guys out - which was evident in the Lawrence fight.

I would pick Alexander Povetkin and Wladimir Klitschko over Chambers...

You would be wrong, Chambers beats both of them.
