This would be a very bad matchup for Randy, i don't think he would stand a chance against Brock, his wresting would be totally nullified against Brock and Randy's standup wouldn't be a threat either. I think the only guys that can stop Brock now in the UFC would be Nog, Werdum and Mir and even then Brock has brought BJJ guys in to teach him sub defense.
I tink Randy would have a very hard time dealing with Brocks size (probably everyone would) but Randy also has ring smarts through years of MMA and while Brock is good at what he does I think he leaves too many openings for Couture not to take advantage of. That said Brock is very athletic for a man his size but he beat Herring who to be fair is a gatekeeper at best and past his best. I think I need to see brock fight a couple more times to make a better judgement and I think the win over Herring was a step in the right direction
Lets chill out what Brock did to Herring was no different then Jake O Breins win and look where hes at. Couture and Lesnars style of Wrestling is different I mean come on who do you actually think will have the advantage if these 2 men clinch ? Couture would maul him he thrives off fighters making mistakes and Lesnar makes them.
Based on what ? A decision win over Heath Herring ? Heath Herring is good not great. Randy Couture is great and actually has takedown defense you dont become a 4 time Olympic Alternate if you dont. What exactly is Brock going to do to him ? He might be able to get him down but he wont do nothing with it Couture knows the submission-wrestling game and will find a way to reverse the situation and bust Lesnar up or possibly submitt him. Randy Couture has stood and banged with Vitor Belfort,Chuck Liddell,Tim Sylvia,Gab Gonzaga,Pedro Rizzo all more fearsome and proved strikers then Lesnar and performed damn good.

You are bored, that's why you're reaching here Prescott. Your ignoring Lesnar's legit wrestling background, which gives him instant cred with said fanboys, in an effort to stir up controversy. They have no problem accepting Lesnar as one of their heros.
Actually, Lesnar was an NCAA wrestling champ, so he has real fighting credentials. Amateur wrestlers typically have a good base for MMA, so most "MMA fanboys" expected Lesnar to fare pretty well.
