...is now looking much better. He recovered far better against McCline than Peter, whose chin is known to be quite good.
I am still amazed that people called Brock glass chinned for getting knocked out by that brutal shot that Wlad hit him with. Which was following up a couple of other brutal shots that Wlad had him buzzed with. As if power, placement, and timing of the punch itself never has anything to do with a person getting knocked out. It is always his chin.
Klitschko didn't ruin Peter's chin. Peter went into the ring, respecting Wlad's power, and just about all of the big shots that Wlad hit him with, was while Peter was ready to take the shots. Only in the 12th round when Peter and Wlad were exchanging left hooks did he catch Peter with something while Sam was exerting himself.... which is when Peter got hurt. Sam has a great chin, but like everyone else in this world, you have to be in proper position to take the punch, and be aware of what is coming at you. Peter clearly didn't go into that fight respecting McCline's power, which he isn't known for. McCline caught him completely by suprise with that uppercut that dropped him, and he didn't really recover fully for a couple of rounds.
