    Tommy was a lot more than just an "ok" fighter. He was not a atg heavy but he was very good

    I love Morrison but Mike would've destroyed him.

    Tommy was a phenomenally talented heavyweight though, to think he achieved all that without any amateur background and with his out of the ring habits.

    What a fighter, what a heart.

    He was an exciting fighter that was NEVER in a boring fight fought a fan friendly style and he had huge heart. Morrison because of his out of the ring lifestyle never reached his full potential. The guy could punch and he could fight. Period. He was a legit fighter.

    what made this comeback even more signifigant was that tommy was three or four fights removed from his brutal ko loss to mercer. if he lost this fight it probably wouldve sent him back two years as the heavyweight division was very competitive at the time.

    Morrison's promoter tried like hell to get him a fight with Tyson. However, it's good for Morrison that the fight never happened. Tyson would've been a very bad stylistic matchup for him.
