Yep ... "Superman" can still fight. The only real problem he's had at 160 is that Pavlik has kryptonite in his gloves:yep

From what I've heard his plan after he lost to Kelly was to fight a couple tomato cans, and then retire with 50 wins. However, he looked and felt good enough in those fights that he and his father decided he would continue for awhile. He fought Andrede and won the NABF 160# title, but the fight was so close, there going for an immediate rematch. If McKart gets past this guy, and then beats somebody like Duddy or Mora, I hope he bows out gracefully rather than trying to hang on to long. I'd love to see him leave the game a winner behind a good pay day.

Me too - I've always liked McKart, way back from when I first saw him on the old USA TNF and ESPN shows. I remember watching his first fight with Winky, I think it was, and thinking he should have gotten the nod. I agree he'd be a tough fight for Duddy, might even beat him.:yep

Oh, yeah, Lucas County, my neighbor to the South. I'm down to Toledo at least once a year for the Toledo Marathon races. Nice town.

Good to hear about Vargas. I hope things go well for him. I have a soft spot for Toledo and Cleveland area fighters. I have friends and family in both cities.

May the best team win tomorrow. :good

That was a great fight, and it was on regular ESPN!

Sorry to say though, it's over for McCart, Duddy would absolutely paste him.

    Time to retire.

Duddy does not have the skill to "paste" McKart. He might beat him, and I say MIGHT with a capital "M". Bronco is still good enough to give most "B" level guys one helluva hard night, and Duddy is "B" level AT BEST!

Nice win for your Buckeye's yesterday. I have to hand it to you; Tressel is a heck of a coach. This should have been a rebuilding year for OSU, and they go and win the Big Ten.

I really think Duddy would stay away from McKart. Too much risk, too little reward for JD.
