The reason why you hear so much hype on Gamboa and Broner is because Broner just had a fight a week ago against a lesser opponent, and he looked good, so now people have high hopes on him, now Gamboa is making a very risky move in moving up to fight Rios, that's great for the sport and people appreciate that. It's the most interesting fight coming up(next to Molina Kirkland imo) more interesting than Pac vs Bradley and May vs Cotto because it's a sure Fight of the year candidate going by their styles, that's why those two are beaing discussed so much.

IT happens, a few weeks ago it was Donaire, and Rigondeaux, after that Chavez Jr, then Chisora, Haye, now Broner Gamboa(since the Riso fight was announced), and of coarse the usual ones Pac, May, Marquez, Wlad, Vitaly, Tyson, ... thats ESB for you. Expect changes from week to week.

Gamboa is awesome and his knock downs were when he was younger and more wild he's more composed and calculated now and he was never hurt in his knockdowns he was more of balance if anything.

Broner is only 22 he's not at his best he's a upcoming fighter learning his way up so don't judge and talk about him like he's meant to be world class already. He will defo get there and be fighting on the championship level for many years. He has a good skill set and is hope for the future of boxing he should be cheered because we need good prospects but yet so many criticize him makes no sense if you truly love the sport.
