    I fail to see any strong parallel between Broner and Gamboa, other than both being faster and perhaps physically stronger than anyone in their weight class/range.

    Why lump those two together? :?

    Really? That's the best you can come up with for Gamboa? That's why he isn't special? Then it's hardly a revelation, is it? Seeing as the majority of his knockdowns came BEFORE most casual boxing fans knew who he was and started hyping him up?

    Everyone has known all along that he is susceptible to being floored. He has been steadily beating good opponents and impressing most fight analysts in spite of that.

    Maybe neither fighter ends up as an all time great, but both fighters are fun to watch, and both look like the top fighters in their respective weight classes.
