It would be a great fight, Golden Boy might not want this fight to happen but I'm all for it.

Rob is an established multi division world champ....he's "A" level but not quite Elite like the upper echelon guys that run the sport. PAC, Floyd, Ward ect....on a different level than Broner or even Rob.:hi:

 

No joke.....that's why I said he's not going to sign any contract with Rob's name as the opponent....at least not at 147. 135....140....that's a possibility.

"Bum"? :huh Who said I called any pro boxer a bum? Broner has been fighter decent opposition....no one stellar or "A" Level... but he's been dusting off good, solid opposition like it's his job. I like Broner as a fighter...he's got a fan friendly style that is wonderful to watch. I just know when someone is bull shitting and Broner doesn't want Rob to send him over contracts to fight at 147....that's silly. He's just rolling with the punches. He got called out...in front of A LOT of people and he spoke fast with out thinking.

If Broner beats Demarco or Molina that will be on par with his win agaisnt Ponce....It's a good win...but they aren't ELITE level guys... Robert isn't ELITE level but he is above DeMarco or Molina....toss in the fact that this fight is suppose to be at 147 and it puts Broner is a world of trouble if his team were dumb enough to take Rob up on this offer.

I don't think Broner is afraid of Rob...he just doesn't want to fight him at 147 no matter what his mouth says. He just said what he thought wouldn't make him look like he was a *****. I don't knock him for taking that road but he shouldn't have acted like he was ready to sign any contract when he knows that 147 is not in the cards for him right now.

Rob is by far the biggest challenge that Broner would have faced in his young career thus far.....and right now he's taking baby steps...he's not looking to take this LEAP up 3 weight classes like he said...and he's not looking to fight a PRIME young champion like Robert who is very well rounded, bigger and more experienced. It's sill you boys are trying to act as if Broner is ready for Robert at 147 when the best win he has is against Ponce who in my opinion won a close decision....it wasn't a robbery...just a bad decision. Broner was very green and has improved since then which is why he will continue to pace himself as he builds up his "Brand"...he won't make any unecessary risks with who he fights for the next few years which means Robert is not going to receive any contracts with Broner's signature anytime in the near future.

Broner is a great young boxer who's potential is through the roof.....His resurme is what it is right now...it's decent... Roberts isn't great by any means but it's definitely more solid than Broners...but that's to be expected since Rob has been a pro longer...he's faced bigger and better opposition...his experience is on another level than that of Broner....but I fully expect that Broner surpasses Rob in this sport...in almost every area....but right now....Rob would make Broner his ***** at 147. 3 or 4 yrs from now Broner will most likely make Robert his *****! Timing is everything.

 

Hell nah....if Broner actually DOES sign a contract to fight Rob at 147 within the next year I'll give him ALL the credit in the world. If he wins.....I'd say he's ready for the ELITE fighters in any division in or around his weight class. But to be honest....When PAC did this....jumped up 2 weight classes I never thought he would actually sign the contract...when he did...I gave him 5 rounds tops before DLH took his head off and sent him back down to his natural weight class....when he was going to fight Hatton, Cotto, Josh....I honestly thought Manny wouldn't pull those out....PAC is a specail fighter and not many can duplicate his historic efforts.

If Broner does I'll be the first to give him his just dues for proving me wrong....just like PAC has time and time again.....but talk is cheap...actions speak louder than words....yada, yada, yada....let's sit back and watch to see how Broner reacts to the hype he's help create by cashing a check his mouth may or may not be able to back up.
