Broner reads message boards....social networks and such....he hears the comments about him being a Floyd "wannabe"...he reads the posts about how much of a cornball or "lame" he is.

He's now working on remodeling his image to something less like Floyd and more like "Boner". Which he should have done from the very beginning.

His comment is a reaction based on the overwhelming criticism that he reads, sees and hears that paints a picture of himself that isn't really flattering.

His skills and talents are undeniable but the kids personality is an imitation copy of a guy who is doing his own imitation of what he wants the world to believe that he is.....which for Floyd....it's just not believable. He's not a thug, a "G" or hood.

Broner's not either....he's not Floyd, that's for sure....even though he tries to emulate him in and out of the ring.

But Broner is NOT as good as Floyd....he's just not..he's good, but not on that level.

 

Subjective statement. Too hard to prove. Many Floyd fans talk about him as a "God", the same way they do with Pac.

Glad he's trying to separate himself from Floyd, hopefully we hear less comparisons now so he can have his own fighting legacy.

 

Both talented but Floyd was far ahead of Broner at his age, Maybe Floyd confronted him and he seems upset past few weeks he has not been complimenting Floyd as much its cool I guess he can become his own person
