Broner beat Paulie relatively easy ...

Stop lying to us and yourself. The fight wasn't close. They should ban two of the judges who did this fight. They should ban you for uttering what you just uttered.

 

Even Paulie's coworkers(the broadcasters) scored the fight for Broner. All of them. Not a single one scored it for Paulie.

How's he going to face them after all of the vile implications he made? :-(

Going to be interesting on the next show. Although I guess they just won't mention the fight much.

What's hilarious is that Broner's critics think that they should change their minds about Broner after his performance against Paulie.

I liked how Broner changed gears, and showed his versatility.

Anyway, about Broner's fight with Paulie. How good is Broner? That's for you critics who don't think he's half as good as he is to decide. Critics critique everything. That's your job. Just don't become bothered when it happens to the fighter you like.

 

Everytime Broner landed a clean shot, Paulie smacked him 3-4 times. Broner lucky Paulie is no puncher it's a good thing he went up 2 divisions to fight someone that punches like a flyweight might as well just have fought Vasquez. Broner looked like **** against Paulie. He was supposed to shine instead he gets slapped around by magic man.

To me, the punchstats being relatively even, Malignaggi's consistent work with combinations made this a really close fight -- hosted by a big opening four rounds that Malignaggi won in all likelihood. I was disgusted by the 117-111 card while the 115-113 cards for each man won my seal of approval. It was clear Broner's power had control WHEN he could get his shots off and land them although Malignaggi was fairly quick and elusive that night as he knew he had to think out each action with much focus to keep away from Broner's knockout right hand. In the end, it was a "split decision" kinda fight which should lead to some people saying "Broner took the rounds" or "Paulie won that fight". Either way, it's settled on and maybe we can get a rematch late this year. Otherwise? Junior Welterweight through Welterweight is packed with many opportunities for both to get back on track in their respective careers.

 

Broner undoubtedly was more bark than bite in the lead-up to the Malignaggi fight. Doing this must really disrupt ones performance and offset what he should have been much more focused on; taking a world champion's title in his hometown. NOT aggravating him before the big fight.

Why do you think Broner smoked Demarco, Rees? These guys have their chins hanging out. They are there to get beat up. In comparison guys like Ponce De Leon and Malignaggi are capable of using their jab, landing punches n' bunches' and still often diving away prior to retaliation. What else can you expect than a hard fight for a man like Broner?

 

Paulie should move back down to light welter.
