So Broner represents young Black American culture. We focus on the negative, but what about the fact that Broner is a hard working, self made millionaire at the age of 24? Isn't that what America is about? The beauty of this country is that your earning potential is almost limitless if have the desire and work ethic. Guys like Broner will always be disliked, but I do have to admire the man's talent and drive.

    :good

Broner whipes his as.s with the checks those "good guys" in boxing make.

How is Andre Ward's son of god routine working out?
Broner signing checks that would make Andre cry.

Broner just made 24 and can afford to make Ward and GG fight one another on his front lawn:lol:

He represents a SEGMENT of young black culture. He's representing the segment that will throw him to the curb if he loses and will worship him if he becomes 35-0 a la Mayweather. I think he's in uncharted territory to be honest. Every guy before him kind of shaded to a group - Holyfield shaded to Christans, Tyson to thugs, Bowe to NY/thugs, Leonard to mainstream black america and then later to political black america with his south africa stuff.

But Broner is taking the most over the top route possible. Literally the only thing left for him to do is to come out with a basketball shoe and a *** tape. I mean if you were trying to make the most over the top black stereotype is there anything else? Maybe be involved in a shooting between entourages. He's yoking people who are true boxing fans.

And the money thing is a joke. Tyson, Bowe, Holyfield, Toney, Jones, maybe Hopkins, Jermain Taylor are all broke. A lot of rappers are broke. I don't know what the F guys are signing away, but they're not what you think they are. I bet after taxes and fees Broner is not a millionaire right now.

You're the guy that thinks Fat Joe, Nas, Bow Wow, Damon Dash, Holyfield, Tyson, Bowe, Vargas, and Toney are all bathing in money and certified ballers when they're either facing prison for tax delinquency or are already bankrupt. You're a joke.

35% off the top of anything you make above $250k. Lawyer fees, promotional fees, licensing fees, training fees, etc. Haymon doesn't work for free :yep

Why does Broner have to represent anyone but himself?

He doesn't have to represent anyone, but I know enough aspiring rappers, entertainers, and ****all else to know hyping from legit hype.- I'd advise Broner to at least represent a little bit of something from a business standpoint, and he's gone above and beyond the cause - on the flip side, how many people would watch a fighter that never gave interviews or did promos?

But for me at least there's a fine line between promotion and boxing. Don King acted like a goofball at times, but he was a master at riding that fine line boxing fans have. If Broner comes in holding up his new endorsed Nike sneaker during his next entrance that's it for me. There's a difference with me between a guy who earns it and a guy who hypes it. If Broner becomes the next Mayweather, then he'll be crowned. If he builds an empire off of coonery that's kind of embarassing.

Unless you know people personally to confirm they are really like what they portray on camera then judgement is pointless.

Come on, you know the difference between a guy coming in rapping with a grill in and the other guy who's the lifetime boxer.

Your ****in average joe bull**** - "ah, well ya know, all boxers are the same deep down" - bull**** should be dismissed out of hand.

Hopkins is a bit tougher, because he's never been indicted or admitted to any monetary problems. He's hinted at a few things, but I'd just be speculating, so cross him out.
