Showtime was really against Mayweather fighting Berto and raised their voices about it- especially Al Haymon. Don't think they would accept this fight quietly. One thing to bomb a fight with Berto after MayPac to compensate the loss of profit. Don't think Sho would be happy about doing that twice though....

Why can't Broner and Mayweather ever talk coherently when speaking unscripted from the heart?

Also, he, like other fighters, needs to stop with this, "I've won X amount of titles in X amount of weight classes". Unless you beat the top dogs in the division (or at the very least just beat the recognised number one fighter) then it is not that impressive. Beating Malignaggi at WW makes you a titlist in name only. If you have some talent and a decent promoter it is easy to cherry pick your way to world titles in four weight divisions.
