Broner Fights like Mayweather Sr, not Jr.

    Don't see the Toney resemblance. He tries to mimic welterweight Mayweather. Using the forearm to create room for the right uppercut and bodyshots on the inside the way he does is more akin to Floyd than it is Toney; using a range-finder jab to set up straight rights up top and to the abdomen, or set up a left hook, is just what Floyd does on the outside...Toney used a lot more fluid combinations and bent his waist at many more angles. Broner, like Floyd, uses his arms and shoulders much more than he uses upper body movement to evade and counter shots.

    I do see the resemblance to Floyd Sr. in the way he throws his power-punches with a lot of thrust from a wider stance than Jr. does. What's funny is that Sr. claims no fighter out there is using the shoulder-roll defense right, including Broner.
