I am nowhere near a Broner fan laughed when he got destroyed by Maidana, saying that tho he is completely right.

Broner's win over Demarco is on par or better than GGGs best wins, everybody has all these excuses but GGG gets pass after pass.

Lara and all these JMWs need to move up, but ask GGG to move up and it's a problem, ask a guy like Broner to take on a difficult fight and everybody is on him, ask GGG to take a difficult fight and its excuses.

There is no at you can get on Broner for level of comp yet praise GGG for his when Broner overall has beaten better fighters.

Say what you will about Broner but he had the gonads to move up from '35 to '47 and fight the biggest puncher there...

 

I absolutely despise Broner but at least he sought better comp at higher weights to make a name for himself. He could of stayed at his weight and comfortably fought nobodies. It would be like if GGG was moving up to SMW and LHW to face tougher opponenets but he isn't.

Also I am caucasian.

 

I'm not passing comment on what AB may or may not have said about GGG but Broner's move to 147 was to face pretty much (without disrespect to Paulie) the lightest puncher there, not the heaviest. Unfortunately for him he was then required to face Maidana as a mandatory. And his move up in weight at 23 years old was almost certainly more to do with him outgrowing 134 than the size of his gonads (unless it was his nuts that were rehydrating 15 to 20lbs).

That said I still think Broner's a fairly decent fighter and gets an undue amount of **** if he was being judged only on his activity within the ring. To his credit he could have stopped at 140 on the way up - though I'm not sure there was an easier title fight than Paulie at JWW given the simmering promotional tensions of the time - cept possibly Khabib, though it may not have appeared so then.
