I'm gonna be completely honest, that's all Broner deserves (If that).

I like most of Jay-Z’s music, particularly his earliest stuff.

That said, I think he is terrible for boxing and clearly does not care about fighters.

I believe there’s something very sinister about the man...can’t put my finger on it...just a hunch.

Haymon definitely has something to do with this. Of course he’ll have Sam Watson and his 2 goofy sons out front for him.

You're all missing the important point AB made. Hearn is saying he has a billion dollar deal, but offering less money than Roc Nation lol. Roc Nation, a subsidiary of Live Nation, had much more money than Hearn and they couldn't do sheet in boxing. They spent big and got nowhere. Literally nobody wanted to sign with them and they ended up overpaying a bunch of fighters who weren't big enough draws to build a business on.

Live nation is one of the biggest entertainment companies in the world and Perform Group is relatively tiny.

Perform Group makes **** all profit now and has no argument for being able to generate an additional $1bn over the next 8 years. Let alone use it all for their US subsidiary to pay to a single company for just 32 evenings of content a year. This deal is a massive joke.

Hearn has a 2 year deal for 64 shows. He has to put on 32 new shows in that time. The deal is supposedly worth a billion but that's only if a 6 year option is picked up after the initial two. Now I know most people on here are students and chavs, but surely a couple of people have been part of a business deal before and understand there's no such thing as a deal structured in this way. The deal is entirely fiction and the billion is a lie. They added on an option neither party expects to take purely to inflate the deal value and create a story for the media. It's classic Fat Poof Eddie BS.

Hearn is trying desperately to do a PBC but he hasn't got any of the money PBC has. He's falling flat on his big fat face so far.

What's gonna happen when people see that 24 of the 32 "new" US shows a year are total balls and the other 8 are the same crap he's already doing in the US now.

I think his most defiantly not trying to do a PBC. If anyone wants to know how not to run a business then PBC Boxing is the ideal model. Get hundreds of millions in investment, spend millions buying tv time, spend millions paying fighters with the end result losing hundreds of millions while building no box office stars.

Nobody is trying to do a PBC as that whole model is flawed.

Any business plan which involves a promoter having to pay the tv networks rather than being paid by the tv networks is doomed from the start as we have seen with PBC Boxing.

The haters are out with the daggers before matchroom have even ran 1 show. Can't help themselves.

I don't see why he would say what he was offered. If he wants more he should beat the guys who have beaten him. He really is more talk than performance.

That was a 5 year deal, right?
Looking at Roc's current state, one has to wonder if they could deliver.
But still, it would have been smart to at least negotiate a shorter deal or something. But Broner went ahead and attacked Roc and made it personal for some odd reason.

He is also a fool for turning down 2-3 times the money he is currently earnig from hearn.

I think hearn may he in trouble he has mis calculated the american market, i bet he didnt anticipate he would have to deal with special needs handicaps like broner.
Anyone see a fake eddie hearn account on twitter negotiating with hank lundy, lundy demanded to be paid in dollars instead of sterling and countered fake hearns offer with a demand in dollar that was like 70k less than he was being offered in sterling.
Hearn can exploit the monumental levels of supidity in america

Mate, just wondering.... which tastes better.... Eddie Hearn's yoked out arsehole or his eeny weeny prostate probe?

Hearn has got a load of "investment" and he's using the money to overpay fighters for his crap US shows. That's 100% PBC. Only problem is the real PBC exists and it has real money, not pretend deals with fantasy extensions lol

**** like this just makes you look like a typical hater, mate, and devalues otherwise interesting point of view.

Whatever anyone’s opinion of Hearn is, can’t see how a failure that is PBC can be declared superior to what Hearn is doing, given the fact that Hearn has done jack so far besides getting the platform to stream the fights he’s yet to make with fighters he’s yet to sign.

Think he’ll fail? Fair enough. Until he does, why pretend he already has?

As the biggest Broner fan in the world, I can tell you now.. HE IS A GOD DAMN IDIOT for not taking this deal. Why not counter offer 2.5 2.75 and 3.0 mill or even higher.. why just post this like a moron and again look unprofessional as hell. I'm starting to finally come to terms with the fact that AB will be out of the sport by 2020. He can't even fight in vegas anymore until he fronts up to his warrant and goes back to jail again. And to everyone saying 'he doesnt want 3 fights in a year' its technically not. once the first fight is done in September its still only 2 fights in 364 days. But knowing him, he probably doesn't understand that. God damn this has pissed me off. Eddie representing AB would of been fantastic.

    Nope.

Eddie Hearn has a Network paying him to produce shows. PBC paid the networks for tv time as well as having to pay all the production costs.

Remind me again where have all those PBC shows gone?
