The route to Floyd was originally through Berto for some reason , now it looks to be through Broner. I thought Floyd was better than this. Maidana would be better off fighting Broner again in what could be another fight of the year candidate. He may even get more fighting Broner than Floyd? Floyd cannot and shouldnt try and sell us on this, its not a fight anybody would want to see. Floyd gets 50 mil for a dull 12 round UD, at least if he fights Khan then there will be the odd spark before Floyd stops Khan in a pretty fun fight. peace.
For Maidana Floyd fight is great, he get money losses UD, and he still has Broner wanting to revenge his loss, and Maidana beats him again, so much more money in the bank and again in for title fights.
Exactly who else is there for Floyd to fight right now. And on the other side of that question, in what world is Maidana 'better off' fighting Broner in an immediate rematch, when he could fight Floyd in the biggest fight of his career, and basically hitting the professional boxers jackpot, and then fighting Broner after that? To pass on Mayweather for a Broner rematch, instead of taking Mayweather, then the Broner rematch, if its available, makes absolutely no sense whatever. As for other opponents for PBF. Garcia doesn't really want it yet Matthysse just lost to Garcia Thurman hasn't really done anything yet, though hopefully that happens soon Broner just lost (not that they would have fought anyways) Pac, Bradley and Ruslan, the other half of the top tier around these divisions, wont be getting the fight due to the shitty HBO/SHO GBP/TR politics. Khan is out by default, I don't see how anyone can defend this fight in the name of some wishful hope for 'entertainment' Khan has done jack **** in the last two years, and two years is a long time in boxing. berto was always more entertaining than Broner. i don't think Berto copied anyone's style, especially a guy who was still active at the same time as him. broner sucks and im glad he lost
