And will eventually grow to resent Floyd. Floyd expects Broner to take another ass whippin on television by fighting one of the most dangerous opponents in his weight class, when clearly Broner lacks the experience, and will likely get beat down. Meanwhile, Floyd continues to duck Pacquiao ever after he talked all that **** about his family and his people, and made racist remarks, and basically just completely disrespected the man, despite actually paying him a substantial sum of his own money. But the reality is, Floyd needs Broner to take that ass whippin. The world learned that nobody in the US cares about Khan, nor does anyone want to watch Broner fight an overmatched opponent. However, it is likely the world will tune in to see Broner take another ass whippin. People just can't seem to get enough of Broner takin ass whippins. Broner could potentially make a lot of money just taking straight ass whippins. Well, Floyd is going to utilize that, and later on, maybe years later, Broner will grow to hate Mayweather as he sees the truth. Broner apparently is so stupid, that he doesn't even see how Mayweather is playing him right now, but when he looks back...you'll see...he'll be calling Mayweather a scared ducker. Anyway, it is what it is. Thoughts?
My thoughts are that Broner and his team are the ones who decide who he fights, not Mayweather. Furthermore, I'm hearing talk that Broner will not be fighting Matthyssee in September. We'll see what happens.
Cruel move by Floyd and Haymon. Broner being used as a stool pigeon here. This fight on the undercard would massively boost PPV sales. Boner didn't look that good against Molina. No way his management willingly matched him up with The Machine.
Broner has announced on Twitter that his next fight will take place on September 6th, one week before Mayweather fights.
If that's the case, Mayweather is ****in up. And if Broner fights Matthysse, he's really ****in up, but I'll tune in. I will say, at least Broner has some balls. Mayweather needs to make this a stacked undercard for this card to sell. But stacked, doesn't just mean having "big names." Khan might be a big name, but nobody in the US really cares about Khan.
Mayweather needed a catspaw. He couldn't get Canelo to go for it and prop up his PPVs on his undercard so he got Broner. He needs a young star who draws well and there aren't a lot of those around or who aren't signed with Arum. Alvarez realized that he didn't need Mayweather and didn't need to play second fiddle to him. He could make more money headlining his own cards. Broner is happy being number 2.
Broner, with a victory can be back in the elite discussion again. Don't sell Broner short if this fight comes off. Broner, on PPv and getting one of his biggest paydays. Judah, Alexander, Garcia beat Lucus M why not Broner.
