Why? Cuz he talks more crap than Floyd, comes in to fight 3.5 pounds over the limit, shows disrespect, never apologizes about it. Acts like he can beat anybody, but calls out a guy like Rios.... That is perhaps a tough fight, but Rios has already been exposed.

Broner is a good fighter with great potential, but his attitude is rediculous. He's not nearly as good as he thinks he is, and has yet to prove it against great opponents.

Ponce de Leon & Twinkes say maybe not.

He has talent, and Americans worship Talent above all else in sport but you need more than that to make it.

one of the best but not THE BEST. that title will go to rigo in my eyes, who technical master, technical wise superior to every boxer out there except fmj.
also for me rigo hits harder (p4p sense) and is as fast as broner.

    1. rigo
    2. gamboa
    3. broner
    4. ward
    5. donaire

will soon look a p4p top 5 list.

How did you come up with 3 years? That's a long time from now, a good 8-9 fights away. That tells me right there you're over rating him.

if guys at the lower weights keep their pace, anselmo moreno will be the best boxer in three years.

I think Ward will be the top p4p guy in the near future. He might not be exciting, but he is smart (fights with advantages), has a great work ethic, and he just seems like he will do whatever it takes to win.

    :deal

Though, I would have to say the next best american fighter will be Ward (especially if he beats Dawson)
